I was convicted of a Dui, I am also Diabetic and had an extreme low blood sugar when I was pulled over, can I get a better plea?
I was pulled over because for a traffic violation, driving on the wrong side of the road while not passing. I am diabetic and was having an extreme low blood sugar because of a new kind of insulin I started taking the week of, which I blacked/browned out from. I was drinking also. I blew a .166 at the hospital, and they took a blood test which shows a .195. This is my first violation of any kind other than a speed ticket. What kind of chances do I have of a good plea? Does the medical condition grant me any leniency? I was not in my right mind while doing this and never would drive drunk.
Generally, using low blood sugar as a defense is not going to fly. When you live with diabetes you are well aware that...
Do I have a case due to a drunk driver?
My family and I (kids 8 and 5) were hit by a drunk driver in a company vehicle. He was said to be going at least 90mph and blew 3x the legal limiT. Thankfully non of us were seriously injured. However, my new vehicle was totalled, I have had terrible depression and stress due to accident, not to mention the kids and I have had emotional stress due to it. I can't find a lawyer because once they hear we don't have $2500 in medical bills they aren't interested in the case, Regardless of the domino effect it's had on everything else. It's been 6 weeks, my vehicle isn't replaced, nor has the companies ins stepped in to offer anything. My ins paid for my truck.

I already had an evaluation, is it possible to get a second one and use that recommendation instead?
It's my first DUI, and I got an evaluation right away, but there is a specific place I want to go to and they don't offer the services recommended by the first facility. Is it possible to get a second evaluation? The first place sent the information to the court and DMV already.
You can get another evaluation if you'd like. The second evaluation may have the same or a different recommendation...
Can a traffic offence be cleared once I turn 18? if not how long will it stay on my record? Also will future employers see it?
I got done for a DUI, I was reversing my car into a drive way after letting someone else out. I'm 17 years old. I was told I would receive a letter in the mail that will summon me to court. i was hoping to go to Tafe and become an electrician, then later in life get on to the mines. is this still a possibility? or is it all over before it begins? I live in Western Australia.
I am not licensed to practice law in Australia. I would call up an attorney in Western Australia and speak to the...
I received a dui in Nebraska. I am a citizen of Missouri and have a valid Missouri drivers license.
I have been to court and paid the fines. I recently received a notice to surrender my Missouri drivers license to the State of Nebraska for a period of 60 days. what if the State of Missouri wants my license too? I'm confused.
Typically the state that issued the license will be the state that will issue its license suspension (even if the DUI...
How do I find an attorney for little or no cost to help me save my license before jan 1st for a DUI case I am facing
This is my first time ever getting in trouble. I am a single mom working two jobs. I am up against a DUI and leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury. I know the driver of the other car is completely fine and before I just up and left the scene I did get out and talk with her. I didn't exchange my info though but we did know each other and I asked if she was ok. I am looking and seeking for help fast to see how to go about all this
If you can't afford an attorney, you can have one assigned to you free of cost by the court.
