Can I have a passenger on a restricted license to approved locations?
I have a restricted license under the 251 program from a Marijuana charge. It allows me to go only from school to home among other restrictions. Does that restriction forbid me from driving my friend to my house from our school, where he will walk or be driven by someone else to his house. Jeremy Letnick: from this site responded: "Take a look at your green sheet to see if there are any such restrictions on it. The statutes permitting issuance of a restricted do not limit passengers (provided you're 18 or over). Be sure to stay within those restrictions." I am 19 but Its checked on my green sheet not "to transport a minor child under your care to and from school". My friend is 17. Because im over 18 does that mean he can be a passenger despite being a minor?
Your restriction is clear that you cannot transport a minor passenger. That is a direct restriction directed at you as...

Refusal to take the Breath test in VA (1st offense)
I refused to take the breath test when I was stopped in VA and was found guilty. So I have a suspended license for one full year. But from what I read it only works that way because I had a VA license. My lease is expiring in one month and moving to DC. Can I get a DC driver's license or the suspension will carry over there too?
The way things should work when it comes to the different state DMV agencies and the way that they actually do work are...
Impact of Connecticut DMV license suspension (for BAC test refusal) in Virginia?
I'm from Virginia and got a first ever DUI in Connecticut. I avoided criminal charges because of the diversion program in CT, but there is a six-month DMV-imposed license suspension for refusing the BAC test. My question is what Virginia will do in response to the 6 month administrative (non-criminal) suspension in Connecticut. Will Virginia just honor the Connecticut suspension or will it impose additional penalties even though there will be no conviction in Connecticut?
Virginia DMV response is not always consistent. I can tell you that a Refusal charge in Virginia carries a one year...
