Mundelein Trustee Dakotah Norton pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving under the influence of alcohol and received a probationary sentence that revokes his driving privileges for six months. Vernon Hills police stopped Norton, 25, at 11:15 p.m. June 14 after officers said they saw him driving erratically. Comment?

The trial for a Vernon Hills woman accused of starting a series of small garbage can fires at area parks has been delayed while officials determine if she's eligible to be transferred to mental health court, attorneys said Tuesday. Defense attorney Steven McCollum said Stephanie M. Wollar, 28, is due back in court July 21 to determine if she is qualified for Lake County's Therapeutic Intensive Monitoring Court for nonviolent offenders with a mental illness who also suffer from substance abuse. Comment?
