Friday Jun 19 | via Erie Times News

The prosecution in the Colorado theater shooting trial has rested after aiming to show James Holmes planned and carried out the massacre while knowing it was wrong. Prosecutors relied on emotional testimony from victims, graphic photos and a state-appointed psychiatrist's videotaped interview with Holmes to undermine his claim that he was too mentally ill to know right from wrong.

I used to make my living driving and i have been denying employment for this would like to know if is there anything i can do to expunge instead of waiting 7 more years. is there any pardon available ? second, even though if its 3 1/4 years ago it still costing me lot for insurance . how can i lower my payment?
Nothing you can do about the DMV but talk to these guys about your insurance http://www.breatheeasyins.com. I've heard...
How much jail time do the Deputy DAs at Harbor Justice Center usually want for a 2nd offense DUI?
I understand the minimum is 96 hours, but have heard that in OC, the DDAs ask for anywhere between 30 and 90 days, partially depending on BAC. What am I facing? I refused to answer any questions, refused to let him "examine my eyes", refused all FSTs and refused the PAS (I wasn't on probation for my 1st offense). I had a 0.12% EPAS. What am I facing?
You may want to try and negotiate with the DA to strike your prior DUI. That would get you out of jail time. If you can'...
I just got a dui on jan. 20, 2015. The thing is I'm moving out of state in April for a new job that I got. What should I do.
My name is Jose. This is my 2nd dui. First one was back in October 2003. I live in California.
You should immediately retain an attorney to handle the case for you. If you are required to complete certain classes,...

You can ask, but they won't do it. The DMV doesn't care about financial issues. That's between you and your insurance...
2nd DUI (1st one 8 years ago) + felony priors
I've recently received a 2nd DUI coming from a work outing. BAC was at .11 but still was taken to the Police station to get my blood drawn since I plead the 5th and didn't answer the officers question "have you had anything to drink tonight?" I have a non-violent felony from when I was younger (which I have served time and got off probation.) What is the likely outcome of my case and what precautions should I take to expect a better outcome?
The fekonies won't impact your case unless they were DUI related. You'll be facing a second - that carries...
Can I drive to my girlfriends house from work and spend the night under terms of CA restricted license?
I have a restricted license that allows for "to/from/course of employment" driving. Sometimes I stay the night at my girlfriends house and sometimes I stay in my own home in a difference city. I want to know if this would violate the restriction.
You should be ok provided you are driving from work to girlfriend's house and nowhere else. Arguably the trip between...
What are the chances that my lawyer can leverage this fact and be able to have the case reduced or dismissed??
On May 18, 2014; I was pulled over for DUI in Orange County, CA. I blew .15 and .13 at the police station. I hired a lawyer who represented me at the DMV hearing. The lawyer won the DMV hearing and i was given a set aside order in October 2014. It was done by arguing, and subpoenaing the officer, that in the police report he wrote that I was swearving and straddling; however, he admitted that i actually never crossed the divider. My lawyer argued that swearving and straddling within my lane is not against the rules of driving. Not only that she argued that there was a violation of Title 17 because the officer failed to properly watched me for 15 minutes. I mean the arrest was obviously illegal as there was no probable cause since the DMV agreed with us.In trial, can i win with the DMV win?
At trial, the issue of whether the officer had reasonable suspicion to conduct a traffic detention is irrelevant - that...
