I received an ovi last night. Any chance of not losing my license?
I was out with a buddy for his birthday last night and had a few shots. I started feeling bad so we left to go home. I got about a mile from the bar and had to stop. I pulled into a little park and parked the car. I knew i couldn't get us home so i was going to call my wife to come get us. While finding her in my phone, i had to vomit. Right as i was finishing, the cop pulls into the park and finds me. He left my friend there and took me in for the breathalyzer. I blew .15 on that. My glasses had fell off in the car and the officer wouldn't get them for me before going to the station. I couldn't see anything they had me sign and he wouldn't tell me what it was either. I felt strong armed because he kept saying refuse to sign and go to jail. So he never witnessed me driving and kept me blind

DUI on a four Wheeler
My buddy wrecked his four wheeler into a mailbox and flipped it into someones property. They were taken by squad to the emergency room and taken care of. The officer asked him questions while he was face down in the dirt on the scene of the accident and didn't administer any sobriety test. He came back two days later to ask him questions about the accident and to see if he could have his medical records from the hospital. He told them he needed to talk to his lawyer and the officer left. Can the officer get the records from the hospital and charge him with a dui ?
Yes. The OVI statute includes both public and private property and a "vehicle" is anything with wheels or runners. (...

How should I go about my court case for an underage drinking ticket?
I am over 18 years old. There was a party a friends house and it got busted by sheriffs. I did run initially but I didn't know it was the cops at first. I thought it was a parent busting the party since the cops don't normally come out to were we live. But the cop didn't site me for that. I got underage drinking on a private property but the cops never seen me with a beer and never gave me a breathalyzer test. They also never said my rights if that matters. So what should at the court hearing that's in a 3 days?
Should hire a lawyer to argue on your behalf
Do i need a lawyer fir first offense under age dui of Razor
Under age driving on a razor snd recked. Have a class a commercial drivers license
I cannot stress to you how important it is that you hire an experienced OVI attorney immediately.
O V I charge reduced with no video, fines extreme, was lawyer correct in recommendation?
Had 2 drinks 1 1/2 hours prior. court postponed 3 times, No video because officer did not do his job. my lawyer said I should take the plea because it becomes my word against officer. I feel 6 months suspension, 400.00 fine plus court cost , alcohol class with jail tim if I have any problems in next 2 years is excessive for 1st offense at 57 years old.
You were very fortunate to get a reduction. Your penalties are typical. You could have been sent to jail for 180 days...
