I have a suspended imposition of sentence for a DWI that I pled guilty to 3 years ago. I am also going into the field of nursing so I know that I have to report my suspended imposition of sentence and the fact that I pled guilty to the nursing licensure board and on job applications. From what I have read, the nursing state licensure board also requires you to report any criminal record to them and on job applications even after it is expunged. Is there ANYTHING at all that can be done at some point besides expungement so I don't ever have to report it again, or is this going to haunt me for the rest of my life?

I am graduating from nursing school soon & will be applying for jobs & I really can't stand the thought of losing job opportunities because I have to say I pled guilty to my dumb mistake-DWI. Especially since I probably do better things for man kind than a lot of non-criminals out there. Also, my lawyer at the time said that even when my record is expunged in 10 years I will still have to report my SIS & that I pled guilty to a misdemeanor on job applications because the medical field has a more extensive background check than most professions (like the record the judge will pull up to use against me if I ever do anything criminal ever again). Is this true? It's so unfair that one mistake in your life could cost you everything for the rest of your life & theres nothing that can ever fix it

When I was 21 (I am 26 now) while driving drunk, hit a parked car & they took my license. I immediately went to the required SATOP classes, and dumped all of my money (along with anything my family would help with) into the case. I chose not to do community service and instead they took my license away for a year. However, since I was never able to pay off the last of the court costs, (last I checked I have a $1,200 bond) I never tried to get my license reinstated. I have 3 dui's, the 1'st one was 20 years ago and the other 2 were in a 2 year period. I served 2 years in prison and i'm on a 5 year revoke. I have almost 3 years of it completed. I am graduating nursing school & applying for a nursing job and I know I have to answer Yes to pleading guilty and No to being convicted, but the application asks me to describe the nature of my offense. How do I describe the nature of my offenses with out telling them I got a DWI since I wasn't convicted of a DWI & since I was not convicted at all? I am on probation for 5 more months too & then I will have an SIS on my record--not sure if that makes any difference in what I report to them.

I was pulled over by an officer for "failure to yield" and "improper lane usage", which resulted in in my arrest for suspicion of DUI. I pled guilty to a DWI-Alcohol in 2010, was put on probation in 2011 and my probation will be complete this September. First, when will I be eligible to have my record expunged? I know it is 10 years, but is it 10 years from when I pled guilty, from when my probation began, or 10 years after my probation ends? Second, can I get a full pardon from the Missouri Governor in the mean time while I wait to get my record expunged? I realize that with a suspended imposition of sentence, I have all my rights as a citizen, but I would think that a pardon would be helpful in getting jobs.
