If I get sentenced to 30 days jail for a first conviction DUI will this mean 15 days in custody? or do I do all 30 day's.
I received a dui 3 years ago and because it was a 1st offense I was given supervision for which I completed successfully. I just received a 2nd offense arrest which may end up being a guilty verdict. I have vacation time of 3 weeks at my current job. I want to use this time period if possible to cover for the loss time of work if I'm convicted. 15 years of employment at my current position would be horrible to loss because the sentence would exceed what I could cover for.
Generally, DUI jail sentences are served at 50%, except for certain enhanced or aggravated charges. To be better...

Will I get US citizenship with DUI 8 years ago?
I wanted to know if I will have issue while filing for US Citizenship. I have been in USA for 14 years. I have had Green card for past 9 years. However 8 years ago I got a DUI. There was not property damage or accident involved. I had to take a class and my drivers license was suspended for a month. After this everything returned to normal. And since then I have not even had a single speeding ticket or parking violation. Mu record is clean. Even before DUI I had just one speeding ticket. Other than that nothing in my history. It was a stupid one time mistake and lesson learned. With this in mind and the current administration in mind do you think I will have issue with my filing for US citizenship?
You should direct this question to your immigration attorney. I have reclassified the question to that category.
Will a not guilty DUI charge show up on driving and criminal record in a negative manner?
On 09/11/2015 I was involved in a one car crash by jumping a curb and hit a tree (distracted driving) Aproxamitly 15 minutes later fire and police showed up, I refused medical assistance and consequently chraged with DUI based on their findings (local police), I refused to comply with the arresting officer by practicing my right to remain silent, I refused any and all testings. The charges against me were found not guilty in a hung jury primarily due to lack of evidence and the many witnesses I had supporting my story. I did however lose my license for one year and used a BAIID device for 10 months, in those 10 months i never failed a test or even gotten a single warning (I don't drink). Fast forward to now, I applied for a new position with a company and in the application it asked for any prior convictions which i answered NO, for the new position I'm applying for requires me the use of a company truck to take home, the offered me the job and i accepted, now after the offer they're conducting a drug, physical and background checks of both criminal and driving. I passed the physical and drug testing so far, waiting for backgrounds to come back, should I be worried?
