Why did I get charged with a DUI? On Feb 28th 2013. My roommate and I were heading to a wrecking yard. He was driving.
We hit the edge of a cement barrier. It flattened the right front tire. We stopped. We got out and he started walking to the wrecking yard to get a rim and tire. We had no spare. I stayed with the truck. I was standing about 20 feet away from the truck. About 5 minutes later a police officer pulled up. I was drinking heavily the night before and I was drinking that afternoon also. I explained to the officer what happened. I told him my roommate was driving. We had a flat and that my roommate was walking to the yard to get a tire. We were not pulled over. And I was not in the truck. He did not believe me. I told him to head to the wrecking yard and find my roommate. he arrested me for a DUI. Did not check to find roommate. Also the truck is his and the truck is in his name. court 6-2-15.
Sounds like you have a good case and should plead "not guilty." If a jury thinks you are telling the truth, you should...
I got an alcohol ticket and I'm looking forward to fighting it. I need help with how i should go by it.
I hardly blew anything, I was handed a mixed drink and was drinking some (couldn't taste alcohol) I was told it had alcohol in it and stopped drinking it. I was supposed to be the driver anyways so I was not even planning on drinking.
You should go about it by hiring an attorney to represent you. There is no quick fix how to fight your case in court...
What will happen? Will they help me or just take my license away immediately?
I just got an underage drinking ticket the other night. I'm 18. I was told I could do a Plea in Abeyance if they let me. I just got this new full time job and can't afford to get my license taken away. I know I made a mistake but would they be able to help me out alittle?
Call the assistant district attorney handling your case and explain your situation. He may be willing to help. If he...

Short answer is no. The governmental agencies will not barter with you. If part of that money is insurance fees you...
I'm 18 and just received an Underage Drinking Ticket. What would be the cost of the ticket?
I know that you can sign a plea in abeyance. If I do I want to know how much that is going to cost me, so when I get in the court room I can pay either all of it all up front, or make payments. What would the cost of classes be if there is any? And would they consider that I only blew a .01? Also, If I don't sign a plea in abeyance is the ticket going to be cheaper? I read somewhere that it would be only $90, if thats the case, which is the better ticket to take?
A few hundred in total costs. If you hire a lawyer they might be able to clear it and convert some of those costs into...

What should I expect to happen at a non-compliance review?
Last September I was charged with a DUI metabolite for marijuana and I also got a paraphernalia charge. This was my first time getting in trouble with the law. I was very honest with the police officer which helped me a lot in court. My DUI was dropped to a lesser offense and I was ordered to take a drug assessment. I did that and was told I have to attend a PRI class. I haven't done that yet because I just got married and finished moving. I have to attend court on June 9th for a non compliance review. I am registering for the PRI class in 2 days when my husband gets paid. What should I expect to happen at this review?
Hire an attorney asap to explain your circumstances to the court. You could get jail for this.
