What will happen when I turn myself in for a dwi?
I have a dwi and a warrant out for my arrest for not showing up for my court hearing. I crashed a car under the influence of alcohol when I was 19 now I'm 21 and been avoiding turning myself in due to the fear of being in jail for a year.
There is probably a cash bond set on the FTA. Best to hire an attorney and turn yourself in than quit running. You can...

The 15th of NOV will be 90 days that he has been in the county jail. All of his court dates have been reset. They said they are still waiting on the results from the lab. He also has a parole hold on him. How much longer will he have to wait in jail before being indicted.

Redirecting to the DUI section of AvvoJD
I am applying for a medical fellowship and I am unsure how to answer a question with a pending DUI charge.
Hello! I am applying for a fellowship program. Unfortunately, I have been charged with a DUI this past year that was due to a prescribed medication. On our ERAS application, it asks us for any felony or misdemeanor convictions. I truthfully answered "no" to this. However, there is one question that I'm unsure of "Is there anything in your past history that would limit your ability to be licensed or would limit your ability to receive hospital privileges?" I know this is after the fact, but I have answered this question "no." At the advice from my fellowship director. I cannot change the answer. I truly did not think much of it until a couple days ago. Now I don't know what to do. I have already interviewed at some places. My question is did I answer the question incorrectly? What is my legal recourse in changing my application? Thank you!
Typically, medication is prescribed by a medical doctor of some practice, to return a person to "normal". So, if your...

What will happen on my 3rd DWI?
I just recently got my 3rd DWI in Travis county one year after completing the sober court program in Harris County for my second. I received my first one in July 2014, and sat 10 days in jail as the outcome. Shortly after I received my second for helping a friend and entered sober court. I completed sober court with no violations. Now I'm facing my third and being charged with a felony. I didn't agree to a breathalyzer, however they did to a blood test which they had a search warrant for. I'm already attending AA, installed an interlock, signed up for IOP classes and am maintaining sobriety. What are my consequences going to be if I continue attending all these things, stay sober and obtain good legal representation??
DWI 3rd is a 3rd degree felony, punishable by a fine of up to $10,000, confinement in prison from 2 to 10 years or...
