A former South St. Paul couple has been killed in the central Philippines in a case linked to a robbery at their organic farm, according to news reports and relatives of the victims. The bodies of 58-year-old Kevin Fleischauer, who grew up in South St. Paul, and his wife, Lolly, 60, were found this week in a well near their home in Murcia in the province of Negros Occidental. Thomas Michael Luby was charged with murder Monday after he allegedly stabbed Kelly Ann Anderson to death in his South St. Paul home. Luby, 58, was arrested Friday after he called the police around 4 a.m. and told the dispatcher there was a dead woman at his house, "because I killed her," according to the criminal complaint. Nearly a year after inflicting serious and life-threatening injuries on his girlfriend's toddler, a South St. Paul man has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison. Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced Friday, July 24, that 22-year-old Lamar James Crump, was sentenced by Judge Shawn Moynihan to 206 months in prison following charges of causing multiple severe injuries to his girlfriend's 15-month-old son in South St. Paul June 27, 2014. South St. Paul police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery Thursday afternoon of a credit union. Police were called about 3:30 p.m. regarding a robbery at the Wakota Federal Credit Union, 1151 Southview Blvd. Investigators said no gun was seen but the man implied he had one. Comment?
