I had 3 beers with my cousin starting at 8:30pm. Background: 1. Was pulled over on Touhy for speeding 63/35mph. 2. Admitted to alcohol consumption, performed FST & station machine test (1st two errors, last reading .10). 3. Charged with DUI, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol (cousin’s cup); I also have an additional court date (12/8) for speeding on the same street on a separate occasion. 4. No Blood Chemical Test performed. 5. Clean criminal record. Currently a UIC Grad student pursuing a Masters in Health Informatics. Applying to medical school in 2016 Diagnosed with ADHD and take Vyvanse 25mg/day (get drowsy, dizzy, and restless at night). My court date is 12/22/15 and hoping for best possible scenario to continue my medical career w/o hindering future employment.

Do I need DUI/Secretary of state hearing lawyer?
License revoked in Illinois for DUI. Eligible for reinstatement this year. I am self-employed with a legitimate LLC. Would I be given a hearing to try to get a restricted driving permit or do I have to work for someone else before I'm even considered?
RDP is available for self employed people. Highly recommend a lawyer.

Now my court supervision is coming to end I have paid all my fines, classes and community service, can i apply for my citizenship currently i am a green card holder?
Were you convicted? If so, the conviction will be problematic for you when you try to prove good moral character.
What can I expect after a failed reading on my BAIID device?
I had gone out for my birthday and had several drinks. I came home, went to bed, slept for about 10 hours and an hour and a half later tried to start my car and received a fail. 3 weeks later at my monthly reporting, I found out my reading was .089. I did not try to start my car again after the initial fail. I have already received the letter from the SOS, and am getting ready to write my explanation. Just hoping to know what I should expect from them, if there is anything I should leave out of my explanation or if there is anything I should make sure I include. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, this is the only fail I have ever had while using the device and have purchased a personal breathalyzer, which I intend to notify the SOS about in my letter.
You leave out one critical point, your level. If you are alcohol dependent, they will yank the permit for one year then...
Should I hire a lawyer for my first dui? I blew at the police station breathalyzer but not when I got pulled over.
i got pulled over by state police for speeding in the ticket it said 62/45 but there is not 45 limit where i got pulled over. I did blew at the station breathalyzer when i was again and it was .153. do i need a lawyer even though i know they have enough evidence to be convicted...can a lawyer helped me minimize the penalty or help me with a plea bargain to lower the charges?
Yes you should get a lawyer. It is never a smart idea trying to navigate the criminal justice system alone. Yes, an...
Will my DUI (first offense) affect my job application in different state?
I had a DUI in January (in Illinois) this year and my last court date is this month. I have a job interview in Wisconsin the day after my court date. My lawyer told me that most likely I will get court supervision. Should I mention the DUI in my job application, and if i do, can they decide not to hire me for a DUI offense? Thanks
Are they going to ask about it? Why mention anything if they don't ask? I wouldn't. Does the job in Wisconsin involve...
