While serving a 10 yr suspension for HTV am I allowed to drive on private land such as a farm or private driveway?
My 10 yr. suspension ran out and I was reinstated before the case for Driving as HTV made it to trial.
I don't practice in IN, but the Indiana statute makes no such distinctions. If you don't have a driver's license, you...
I was arrested for dangerous operating a vehicle while intoxicated I.C. 9-30-5-2(b) in indiana a few months back.
twenty minutes after they pulled me over and i did the field sobriety test to get probable cause to give me the portable breath test i blew a .09. after they took me to the station i sat and waited another 26 min. to take the breath test at the station where i blew a .14. my question is that if the prosecution has to prove what my alcohol content was at the time i was behind the wheel driving, WAS I REALLY OVER THE LIMIT AT THE TIME I WAS DRIVING?!?! I mean it went up from .09 to .14 in a 26 minute period and i was arrested in front of my house just two minutes from the police station so a total time of maybe 28 to 30 minutes passed in between the two tests.
What you are talking about is called retrograde extrapolation. It is a very sophisticated, scientific defense that...
i was swerving and the cop pulled me over gave me a field soberity test then they took me to the hospital and gave me a blood test and the court still doesnt have my results back and my next court date is May 27th
Assuming the police actually sent the blood to the lab, it can take several months depending on how backlogged the lab is.
I've been convicted of a DWI Class A misdemeanor and I work as a server at a not for profit organization, can I still serve my customers? Will there be any hardship in getting my servers permit renewed?
It shouldn't affect it, but you should contact the agency that administers the permit and ask them.
I have 2 dui's one in 2006 and one in 2010... i have atleast 12 points on my license.on the last dui the took my license away

Have an attorney who handles DWI's review your records and evaluate your situation.
How is it possible for a court to suspend my license 180 days for a DUI, but i have to wait 210 to get my license back?
On May 8, 2013 my license was suspended after i plead guilty to a DUI. The judge told me my license was suspended for 180 days and i would be eligible for restricted driving with an ignition interlock after 30 days. I turned down the offer after 30 days because it was pretty expensive just to drive to work. This week I was getting things in order to get my license back and I called my probation officer to get some details on what all i needed to do. She informed me that i still have another month of suspension. She told me that it wasn't just 180 days of suspension but a 30-180 suspension. Even though i refused the ignition interlock, the court is still holding my license as if i were doing 30 days of no driving and 180 of restricted driving. How is this possible?
Don't rely on your probation officer. Go to or call the bmv and find out the status. Also go pull the court order...
I am a student at Purdue and I was arrested this weekend for a public intoxication. I stayed in the drunk tank for 12 hours and released. I did not take finger prints and only thing i had to do was sign few forms as i was being released and they issued me a court date. I know public intoxication is a class B misdemeanor but can this affect my application for citizenship? I plan on applying within this year. This is my first offense in Indiana and my only other charge was a criminal citation for metro fare evasion in maryland. 1) how serious is a public intoxication? 2) will this charge affect my citizenship? 3) are public intoxication and disorderly conduct seperate charges? Thank you so much for your time.
You should speak with a licensed Indiana immigration attorney to discuss the potential immigration consequences. I...
