I got a DUI in Erie, PA, and my license is suspended. I moved down to Maryland for my new job at Northrop Grumman and realized I really need a vehicle to drive to work. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding attaining a restricted work license to get to/from work. This would help me a lot and relieve much stress. I also am intent on getting a masters degree from John Hopkins University, and I was wondering if this restricted license could also work for driving to classes. Thank you for any help. I am currently desperate for options to my current problem, and a restricted license sounds like it aid me greatly for work.
Here's a good resource to start your inquiry: http://www.mva.maryland.gov/Driver-Services/Apply/new-to-Maryland.htm
I bartend at a college bar. Recently a police officer told me that they are going to raid it for the 2nd time this semester, and if the owner of the bar has not purchased a device for photographing each ID and proving which customer came in with which ID every bartender will be arrested and charged. The bar has multiple bouncers working at once, and checks every ID manually, with a blacklight, and with a scanner. However many of the fake ID's are so advanced they pass all 3 of these checks. Last month, it was raided and there were about 100 underage people there. The police told me they don't have the right to search them, so they can't prove they gained access through a fake ID. As a bartender, can I face charges even though we thoroughly check ID's and I am merely doing my job?

15 years ago I got a PBJ for a DUI in Maryland. It is not visible on the Maryland Judiciary Case Search if that means anything. The question reads as follows: "Have you ever been convicted of a felony, or any crime an element of which is dishonesty or fraud, under the laws of any state or of the United States (conviction includes a plea of guilty or plea of nolo contendere accepted by a court)?
My opinion is that you can answer "no." A PBJ is not a conviction and a DUI is not a felony. A DUI does not involve...

I have two DUI records in the state of Maryland one occurred in 2009 and received PBJ another occurred in 2011 and I was convicted with 3 years of probation and probation ended in July 2014. I recently conducted a background check from FBI and state of Maryland and both records came clean with no arrest record. However, when I went to individual courts I was able to get manual court record copies of my dispositions. My question to you is if I travel outside united states do I have to disclose in the application for visa stamping that I have been arrested for DUI? for H-1B stamping or I can say I have never been arrested?
This question is marked as a criminal or dui question, but really, you need to speak with an immigration lawyer who can...
