Police received a report March 21 that a child left in the care of Darrius Eric Carr , 22, was sexually abused over the course of several days, Patch earlier reported. Carr had no fixed address, and was arrested April 8 in Harford County. Comment?

The CVS Pharmacy in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road in Severn was robbed early Wednesday by an armed suspect, according to Anne Arundel County Police. A female employee told police a male suspect wearing a mask over his face entered the business about 3:12 a.m. armed with a handgun and took cash from the register. Comment?

So when two young Scouts, ages 12 and 13, spotted a man grab their wagonload of treats like Trefoils and Thin-mints Saturday afternoon in Severn, Anne Arundel County police said one of them did what any outraged crime victim might do. One of the girls grabbed the wagon from a man police later identified as Gabriel Taylor Smith, 18, of Odenton, as he headed for a waiting vehicle. Comment?

Anne Arundel County police released a description of the male suspect who allegedly implied he had a gun and threatened the shop keeper of The Dash In, 7845 Quarterfield Road, Servern, before taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. The suspect, described as a six-foot tall male, slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white and black tennis shoes, fled on foot. Comment?
