Can a dwia, not dui, be sealed?
I had a dwai in colorado back in 2009. I would like to work with a driving company out of nevada but they go back 7 years and denied my application. Its a much lesser charge of 500.00 dollar fine vs a dui which is 10,000.00
You need to ask a Colorado attorney--a Nevada attorney cannot seal your Colorado record.
I need to clear my previous DUI and beat my second recent case.
The first DUI, November 20 2012 I was parked in my car with a flat tire at a gas station. I went into the gas station and got a water at the time. I went and sat back in my car for a couple minutes to warm up as is cold In Canada! Remind you I had a flat tire and wasn't able to drive it. I had called my friend and he showed up to get me, as I was hoping out of my car to get into my friends vehicle the cop had showed up. I was asked if I had been drinking, I admitted. The clerk at the gas station had called RCMP as I smelt like liquor. I blew a 1.8. Lost my license for a year, waited the full year and than had interlock for a year, did good with the program. The second DUI that happened August 20 2016 I was hopping out of my truck after driving my boss to the bar. The cop had immediately arrested me. I refused to take a breathalyzer test and didn't not blow at all during the night. Went to the cell for a couple hours and was let out the same night. My truck was seized for 7 days both arrests. I need to beat my second DUI and hopefully erase my previous one as it's been 4 years now and I represented my self as I should have gotten advice or seeked a lawyer.
If you got two dui cases in Canada, lawyers in the US cannot help you.
What should i expect for going to court for DUI for the first time.
originally i got stopped for speeding, but in the process they asked if i had drank that night and i admited to drinking 2-3 beers within a 2 hour period. They made me take a breathalizer test and they arrested me for being .081 .... Suspended my liscense aswell. Posted bail and I have court on monday and it says AR next to my court date but not sure what that means? Its my first time offense but i havent had gotten a lawyer yet. Very nervous Unsure on what to expect or do for the first time having court.
AR almost certainly stands for arraignment. That's the type of hearing you will have tomorrow. It's a preliminary...
CPS wants me to drug test, do I have to?
Baby isn't mine. I have agreed to Safety Plan and am to provide 24/7 supervision to father and 2 month old. Father uses and mom isn't around. DA has approved and just wants me to get finger printed. Now CPS is asking me to drug test. Are they allowed to do this?
Yes they are allowed to do this. They have to make sure that the child is in a safe environment.
How to approach coming forward for drugs that were in a friend's possession
A friend was caught with drugs, but I was not present. I want to come forward and prove that some of those drugs were mine. How do I go about this? Do I speak with a lawyer first? Do I attend the preliminary hearing? How will I be able to prove they were mine?
That is probably not a very smart thing to do. If you are thinking that he will get off because of you coming forward,...
If were give a drug test hair/urine and only they had one result and not the other one due to it was lost is it still minisable
I took a drug test hair and urine and they made a error with the urine they dropped it and they only had results for the hair can they use that against me
They sure can. What makes you think that they cannot?
Does it matter which online DUI school I attend?
I have to attend a DUI class for my drunk driving case and the Las Vegas Justice Court told me I could take an online DUI school if I wished. I found a listing on DUI classes on the Nevada DMV website and 123DUIOnline.com caught my eye. Does the justice court only accept specific online DUI classes, or is any on licensed by the DMV allowed?
No, just get one that works for Nevada.
