An 18-year-old man has been accused of robbing a convenience store with a 2 A1 2-foot sword in Sanford, Maine, that was found in a snowbank. They say he's accused of taking alcohol and cigarettes from the Airport Variety store and brandishing what looked like a knife. Comment?

A former Roman Catholic priest, who previously spent a decade in a Massachusetts prison for the rape of an altar boy, was formally charged with 29 counts of gross sexual misconduct in a Maine court Monday. The York County grand jury indicted Ronald Paquin, 74, for his alleged crimes against children between the ages of 11 and 14 in the late 1980s at a "seasonal location" in Kennebunk, according to a Wednesday statement from the town police. Comment?

In the state's largest heroin bust to date, two people have been arrested after the MDEA seized more than eight pounds of heroin/fentanyl in Sanford, Maine, and Massachusetts. The street value of the drugs is more than $1.8 million. Comment?
