A Groton woman and her girlfriend have filed a lawsuit against the Honolulu police department after they say an off-duty officer harassed them for kissing and holding hands while in a supermarket and then arrested them following an altercation. Courtney Wilson, 25, of Groton and Taylor Guerrero of San Pedro, Calif., filed the suit against Officer Bobby Harrison, a 26-year veteran of the force, and the city of Honolulu last week. Comment?

Los Angeles police burglary detectives are working to identify a woman caught on video stealing a package from outside an apartment in the 1800 block of South Patton Avenue in San Pedro on Oct. 13. A former San Pedro High School teacher was ordered Monday to stand trial for allegedly sexually assaulting four teenage boys, enticing them with flirtatious text messages, taking them to dinner and engaging in sexual acts with two of them. Michelle Yeh, 29, courted the boys, taking some to Disneyland and the movies, and buying them video games and meals, before engaging in a sexual act with one boy in her classroom, and another on four occasions in a motel, testimony during a two-day preliminary hearing revealed.
