I was charged with VC22152 But my attorney got it reduced down to a DRY VC23103 The DMV said I need to enroll in a 3 month DUI class to get a restricted license then I get 2 months added to my the restriction. I currently have a restricted license but am on leave for the DUI class but when I come back from leave to the DUI class this will be after my restriction period expired do I need to continue the class to get full license back? Because the court didn't order class and I was charged with a non DUI DRY reckless.”
I assume the suspension is because you lost the APS hearing? If you never get a restricted license, you only need...
If I got convicted for my third DUI in Riverside but im currently in LA, can I pick up the scram here? I have court tomorrow. Also whats the likely sentence if I dont get it? I did 5 months 1/2 time already. Thank you
SCRAM providers are located throughout CA. You really need to consult with an experienced DUI Attorney in Riverside...
Last march I was arrested for drunk in public with resisting but it was dismissed. 7 years ago I was convicted of a OWIL in Michigan. I honestly would have said in any of the prior occasions that I did not think that I have a serious problem, but man this is not looking like it is the case. I am a pre-med student and single father. I am terrified of the consequences and am looking into support groups for harm reduction/ abstinence. Is there any hope?
You best hope is to get a criminal defense attorney who has practiced in your area for decades. The attorney will...
I got into an accident trying to avoid an animal crossing the street in a rainy day. My car slipped all over and hit a parked car. But I'm freaking out when the more I read over the internet , the more I see jail time , and huge penalties. I'm a college student and can barely afford my classes. Should I even try to appeal my dmv restriction of my license... Thank you so much for your time.
you need to retain an attorney to assist with the criminal case and also to reserve your right to a DMV hearing. What...
I am 18, in California. Last night, I got pulled over because an officer saw people drinking in the backseat (is this a valid reason to pull me over?). I was asked to step out of the car and preform a few tests, which I thought I passed, and then told to blow in to a breathalyzer. I blew a .07, a .01, and a .07 (this includes the 2 tests administered on the street, and the test at the police station). I was handcuffed and put into the back of the car, where I was left ALONE for about 5-10 minutes before being driven back to the station. Does this violate the 15 minute mandatory observation period? I am interested in finding out what you believe will come of this case? Will I be convicted? I understand all cases are different, but Im curious how things have turned out in similar cases
Sorry to hear about your situation. It's not possible to know if you will be convicted or know the outcome of your case...
No prior criminal record. Currently I'm represented by the public defender. My two attorneys say they don't believe the DA knows about the other case (they both think I have no crim. record with no pending cases). In essence I'm being offered two different first time DUI offenses. Is this right? If I plead in one, will I immediately have a DUI and then when pleading on the second be pleading to a "second time DUI". My attorneys appear not to know the answer to this question. Thank you.
This kind of thing can happen. Generally it happens when the second DUI is on top of the first and both DUI's are in...
I received a DUI on June 30, 2014. Court date was November 6, 2014. I have not received any papers from the Courts to date. Is this common? Has anyone seen or experience a client in my situation and finally did receive court papers? Thank you.
Yes. This is a lot more common than you think. I assume you went to your court date and they told you there was no...
