I was pulled over taken to the hospital for a DUI for substance methamphetamine.
I was taken to the hospital however told me he wasn't going to press every charge she could if we had taken to the hospital cuz I need to come to his family. In his paperwork it states that I refuse to blow or take a blood test which is not true they did this at the hospital I did not refuse to take a blood test or to go to the bathroom for him or the nurses. Now it states that I have to have an interlock system and my license has been suspended a year and still is is there a way to find paperwork from the hospital showing that I did not refuse any of this. We also get my money stating that the FBI need you look at it it was Christmas money and I have proof of that I got it out the day before Christmas I had to be in in time for you with this money questions on Lost $1,100 because it was holding on to it and I did not have anything for Christmas leftover. Can you tell me I would not be able to get it out and when I went in to get it at the Highway Patrol office in Salt Lake City got to see my ID got my money back with no problem at all
Your question is disjointed so I can't really understand the issue clearly. Please contact an attorney in your area...

Can a judge punish you for drinking even though he never said you couldn't drink?
So my case is still pending for DUI and my attorney had a couple of conflicts so we just rescheduled my pretrial conference. When I showed up 3 weeks ago my attorneys assistant forgot to tell me that it was rescheduled. So I talked with the judge for a minute and he asked me if I had still been drinking and if I would pass a test had he chosen to give me one. I told him I didn't know and that yes I still drink but I haven't been driving. He proceeded to lecture me for about 5 minutes and said that is something he takes into consideration for sentencing. He said I should completely give it up get treatment etc etc. Can a judge try and run your life like this when you haven't even convicted yet? In fact it is kind of ridiculous they can tell you not to drink on probation when you aren't even driving. He didn't tell me to not drink but he did tell me that I shouldn't. I will still drink but not drink a couple days before the next court so I can pass a test if he actually gives me one. Can he really try and run my life like this when I haven't been convicted?
Don't be so paranoid. He was merely suggesting things that he feels are in your best interest. Frankly, anyone who...
What happens if I move but have a charge pending in my old state
So I ran a red light, got pulled over and then officer asked for field sobriety test. I had a few too many but I wasn't sure how far over the limit I was. I refused the sobriety test and refused the breathalyzer(I don't care about driving that much). I figured it would take hours to actually get my blood drawn. Got arrested and cited, took about 5 hours to get blood drawn and I got released after being booked. Was told to call the court in 14 days. I called the court nothing had been filed and they couldn't give me a date. They said it could take upto 6 weeks to show up. Called 6 weeks later still nothing, they said they would mail me. I got a good job in New York City. I passed the background check despite having the arrest. I start Dec 1. Lets say I get charged eventually. I decide to just never return to Utah and never drive again. What is the worst that can happen? I want to keep this off my record and I figure if they don't convict me its all good. I will just have a PO box in NYC and will just be staying with a friend. I hear they don't extradite for misdemeanors and I will just be living with a friend. Would they try and hunt me down. New York has public transit
The worst that can happen: If you don't show up for court they will issue a warrant for your arrest. Your record will...
My brother is in jail for his second dui and he has an immigration hold, if we pay the bond will he be released?
he is in jail and has immigration hold he is under daca status and we wanted to know if we pay his bond will he be released or will he then go to ice since he has an immigration hold and if we pay the bond and immigration doesnt come get him will he be released after 48 hours? will he still need to go to immigration court?
ICE could detain him and could put him in removal proceedings, particularly since DUI can make someone ineligible for DACA.
2nd DUI can I choose jail over probation/fines
So I was offered 5 days jail and a year of focus group/treatment and 2 years probation. I really don't want treatment as I think it is a waste of time and I don't want to deal with a PO and drug/alcohol testing for 2 years. Can I just do up to the full 6 months with work release and be done with it all? My boss is willing to work with me and I can't afford everything that is required as I live paycheck to paycheck I usually have to buy food on a credit card due to unforeseen medical bills. I am willing to pay for my crime I just don't want treatment or probation.
You should contact an attorney to assist you with this matter.
Is it possible to maintain my driving privileges if I was arrested for a first time DUI?
I was pulled over and arrested for a first time DUI. I was given a sobriety and breath test and blew a .131. I need my drivers license for work. Do I have any chance at no suspension or possibly a "limited license?"
Possible but not probable. You need to request ahearing withing ten business days and be prepared for the DLD hearing....
