Went across a median struck and highway light steel pole , which was distroyed , at the hospital my blood alcohol level was a .26 can i be charged with a dui ?
Yes! In fact, you never need a Blood Alcohol test to be charged with DUI. If you had a BAC level of .26 at the...
Will I be credited for the time I spent on house arrest when I am sentenced on my DUI....
I am due to plead guilty on a aggravated DUI...
Probably, but not necessarily. Some judges will not allow it, depending on the facts of your case, the charges against...
Can I get my DUI supervision reinstated?
Got a DUI in 1995, did classes and victim impact panel, but did not appear at the end of supervision date and my supervision was revoked and a conviction was entered in 1996. I know it is very old, but there is an outstanding warrant so maybe the case is technically still open. I am wanting to go back in to get the supervision reinstated and then satisfactorily terminated so the "license revocation" will be removed. Can this be done? And if not, what am I supposed to do now? I don't live in Illinois anymore, but just want to clear this up
You need to contact the attorney who handled this matter or another attorney to address this for you. Although you no...

Will I be able to get an IL drivers license if I have a DUI from Arizona?
In mid 2010 I was pulled over and charged with a DUI (first and only) in Scottsdale, AZ. I pleaded guilty (misdemeanor) in Aug. 2011 and satisfied all AZ court requirements (fines, 24 hours in jail, classes, etc.). Additionally, I have satisfied ALL BUT ONE of the AZ D.O.T requirements (interlock device). Reason being, I moved to Chicago, IL in Sept. 2011 and did not physically have a car to attach an interlock device to (I still do not!) I never had a reason to change my ID as my AZ license does not expire until 2048 and there was no reason for me to believe otherwise. Here we are, 6 years later, and I am just finding out I may not be able to get an IL driver's license because my AZ license is still listed as "revoked." With the 6 year, I have had ZERO traffic violations and thus, my record is clean and clear. Why am I STILL being reprimanded in my 30's for something that happened in my mid 20's??
You will have to clear your AZ license before IL will give you a license. I strongly advise you to contact an AZ...
I recently got my 1st DUI. Is it possible to get this expunged?
I was dropped off at my car. Since I had been drinking, I made a decision to sleep in my car and not drive. I was parked in a dark private lot (mini plaza). The officer knocked on my window ( I think he thought the car was abandoned). My car did smell of alcohol and I took the breath test and it was .11 (Illinois is .08). I do have a trial coming up and my license has been suspended. Also, can I travel out of state in this situation? I have family outings coming up. Please advise!
You likely cannot travel out of state. Your bond likely restricts your movement outside of Illinois, but you can have...
Can I move out of the country with court supervision DUI?
I was planning on moving to Korea in the coming month, but since I just recently got arrested for a DUI, it will not happen as quickly as I thought. I still would like to move there though to teach, and was wondering the chances of me being able to do so while on court supervision. I have not been sentenced yet, but my attorney advised me that the chances of me getting this sentencing due to my prior background is very high. I plan on taking all of the classes needed, as well as anything else I must do before the move. So is this possible?
Some countries will not allow you to enter with court supervision on a case for at least 10 years. Canada is one of...
