charged with DUI of 0.012 had a glass of wine 3 hrs before but also medicated with Accutane, i crashed on a parked vehicle when suddenly lost vision as a result of side effects of medication.
Potential results of these charges are a period of incarceration, fines, classes. See a competent attorney.
Violated my probation by going to dui class after drinking (not driving). Was given a breath test at the class (in San Francisco). Going on Friday to get a re-referral (at Redwood City Courthouse) but I'm not sure if that means going before a judge? I'm assuming it does. I don't have any idea what I am doing. If given community service, can I ask the judge to do it in S.F? (where I live and work). I don't think I qualify for a public defender but can't afford an attorney either. So I don't know if there is another option to be represented. I'll just faint if I try to defend myself.
No need to defend yourself. You simply admit the probation violation and tell the judge that you will not mess up your...
When asked if ever convicted of a crime, can one just put Reckless Driving since that is what VC 23103 technically is on DMV website/CA Law?
If you were convicted of a VC 23103, and your VC 23152 charges were dismissed, then yes, you would write "VC 23103"...
Blood tests came back 0. Field tests given for over 2 hrs, my pleas of being tired, & mobility issues (disabilities) were ignored. I need an attorney willing to take monthly payments. Limited income, no priors. Thank you in advance.
I take monthly payments if you're in San Diego sounds like you have a defense to the stop you didn't offer other...
Can I complete a DUI program on my own and go to the court and show that I'm doing well? Will my violation be treated as first probation violation? I got my 3rd driving under the influence in 2009. In 2011 I was suppose to complete a six month drug program and I'm on supervised probation. I was sentenced to fourteen months in jail but they let be released to a program after 35 days and I was suppose to stay 6 months but I ran away. My probation officer said she will let me try another program and I left that one after a month. Since then I have not drank alcohol or anything and I just don't know what to do. I'm tired of thinking about jail. I have 2 babies and I just want to get this over with so I can move on with my life. After I left the second program my probation officer told me
You should contact your lawyer to discuss these facts, they will know the DA and Judge in your case and can make...
I was pulled over a couple days ago for a DUI, 0.13 breath test, no accident. I also just hired an very experienced DUI lawyer, and we are working hard to beat my case! My question is related to my green card application. I also have been working with an immigration attorney to obtain my Green Card through EB-5 program (invested $500,000). I turned in my application in March, 2013, and It's still in initial review status. My question is in the worst case scenario, if I do end up guilty. Will my first DUI affect my EB-5 green card application? Other than this accident, all my records have been clean. And I am currently holding a F-1 visa, and has been for the past 7 years. My DUI attorney will contact my immigration attorney about this accident, I am just hoping to hear some answers now!
Talk to your immigration attorney. They will be able to answer your question. Good luck.
