How to write a narrative to the board of nursing about a prior DWI conviction.
I was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol in 2010 when I was 22. I am now 27 and just graduated from Rutgers University in NJ with a B.S in nursing. I have to write a narrative to NJ BON about the incident and was wondering if anyone can offer some help. I pled guilty and lost my license for 7 months, completed the 12 hour course and had the interlock device on my car for 7 months with no issues. I followed everything to the T and have not had any issues since 2010. I have read that this narrative can be the determining factor when the board looks at your application and ultimately allows you to sit for the boards and become licensed. Any suggestions or help with writing this narrative would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you, Maddie
Given the importance of the narrative, you should meet with a lawyer who regularly deals with the board of nursing and...

WILL The driver come forward ? Need more facts speak to a seasoned DUI attorney like myself
Can I be charged with underage drinking if I was at a party and did NOT drink but had to give my name to the policeman?
Your at a party, police bust the party, get everyone's name and number. Policeman lies in the report and says you admitted to drinking, but you never talked to any cops besides your giving your name. You get called in and get the charge but every other person who gets called into the police station for underage drinking gets away free.
Can happen, same trouble as if police saw you standing on the lawn chugging a beer. Unless you fight it, which probably...
Will driving with dui suspended license be automatic jail time.
Someone I know from nj had their license suspended for two years last year. Anyway, she was caught last week driving while under that suspension. She was arrested, but released later that day. When she appears to court, will there be a an automatic jail sentence ruled for that offense whether she is represented by attorney or not?
Only if you're found guilty
How many times can a superior court postpone a DUI appeal? If a certain amount of time has passed, can charges be dropped?
The case is regarding a DUI. The Officer lied about reson for vehical stop. It is visually evident in the video evidence.
Theoretically, maybe, if the delays were truly extraordinary and all due to the State's delays. However, practically...
Can a county Intoxicated Driver Program withhold driving privileges if the "driver" has fulfilled all obligations?
My daughter plead guilty to a DWI and has been without a license for 7 years. She was signed off on her 2 years' probation, went through rehab and has completed Intoxicated Driver programs, but the county IDRC administrators keep telling her she has to do more programs. How can she fight that decision?
Every time one of us answers this type of question about IDRC an unknown contributor chimes in and tell us we are wrong....
IntDrivResCen won't sign off compliance. I completed 16 weeks, no + urine screens, how can I go over their heads and appeal?
I got my 2nd DUI 7 years ago, in Monmouth County, NJ, and was found guilty in Federal Court because the DUI occurred in Sandy Hook National Park. I completed two years supervised probation, 180 hours community service, 48 hours IDRC weekend in Passaic, and 16 weeks of IDRC class in my county in 2010. I was in many programs (I had a drinking problem) but now returning to be in compliance for my license, sober, they keep referring me to more programs, now a 5 half-day a week program, which I have already done and would mean quitting my job and not be able to pay my surcharge. I have documentation proving I completed the initial 16 weeks and more. How and whom do I address this with? Do I appeal in Federal Court? Do I have a case?
Did you have an attorney? You needed one Did you accept the plea? If you did then you agreed to all this, and more....
