If I have a Georgia license but received a withheld judgement on a DUI in Idaho, where can I drive?
I have a Georgia driver's license. Received a withheld judgement on a DUI in Idaho, currently living there. Was told my license was suspended for 90 days (both in court and DOT) in Idaho. But checked the status of my Georgia license and was told it is valid. How do I reinstate a license if it's not suspended... what's going on?
ID suspended your ID driving privileges. ID will have reinstatement requirements that you must complete to get your ID...
Will my possession of marijuana be dropped if it was found due to an erroneous arrest/tow?
I was pulled over for speeding (67 in a 55). Upon running my license it came up as suspended, and with a requirement of a ignition interlock system. For this reason I was arrested, and my car towed. Upon towing my car the police officer "inventoried" my vehicle and found marijuana. However, my license should have never been suspended. I took care of my DUI charges over a year ago, and Arizona (where my DUI was) already explained it was a computer error that caused my license to be suspended. Because of this I wonder if my marijuana charge could get dropped, as I shouldn't have been in a position where he could search me. A lawyer I contacted is wanting to charge my $1500 because of all the charges, but that doesn't seem proper, as the DUI charges were false and easy to prove.
Unfortunately, the police will be allowed to rely on the information that is reported on their computer. Therfore,...

What is the point of having a lawyer for a dui?
we have a dui in excess in the state of Idaho. I understand what the minimum and maximum sentencing possibilities are. so what is the point in paying for a lawyer? what will they do for me?
Attorneys can be pretty amazing. Even though you think the result in your case is preordained, consider the...
Possible motion to suppress DUI charge?
Long story short: the preliminary cause (traffic violation, speeding) is NOT listed on the first ticket filed (which sites the DUI and other misdemeanor charges), according to Idaho repository and the county clerk, the preliminary infraction was filed TWO days after the misdemeanor charges (there is also no recording of clocked speed on ticket). Would this be a valid motion to suppress or dismal of charges?
Nope....................................................................................................................
How do I apply for a job if I haven't been to court. I was arrested for a DUI and a conceal and carry while intoxicated.
I was pulled over for not having a front license plate displayed as I was leaving a bar. I told him I had a concealed weapon he kindly told me to but my hands on the steering wheel which I did and did everything the officer asked of me perfectly. I take adderall for my ADD so when drinking I didn't notice I had that much to drink. I thought I was fine. I blew in the alcohol testing device and it said 1.8 which was surprisingly high since I didn't feel or talk (slurring my words etc.) drunk. I could think perfectly. I'm trying to apply for jobs but I don't know if I am able to say yes I have been convicted of a misdemeanor (which they both were my first; I was unaware that concealed while drunk was a bad thing since bars are dangerous every time I go. So I brought it for my own safety. I just was wondering what I should put on my application. My court date isn't till the end of next month. So is it on my record now or do I wait till after my trial to start applying for jobs? Thanks for your help.
If the case is ongoing you likely have not been convicted of a misdemeanor yet. If this is the case, at this point you...
