Car was totaled He lives with me Insurance says they will cover but they don't know about the dui They want to add him to the policy if I do they will know about dui
This is between your insurance and you, not a 3rd party. Even if any attorneys on here say "yes, they will cover it"....
Do I have to attend the 18 month DUI school in Calif for two DUI's I received in Wyo in 1993 and 1995?
I moved to Wyo. and did not change my CA DL into a Wyo one. I acquired two DUI's with the CA DL before received a WYO DL in 1997.
I don't understand the question. Maybe it's best to contact a local attorney. Many reputable attorneys offer a free...

Second DUI in California, Ignition Interlock Device (IID) Question
If you are convicted of a second DUI in California, NOT in a pilot county, and you install the IID, is your license restricted to/from work? Or do you have full driving privilige? I have asked this question before, and am sorry for asking again. The reason I am doing so is I am associated with a person who just had their second DUI, and they seem to be under the impression that they will be able to drive freely after the IID is installed after 90 days. I found this publication on the DMV website that seems to support their claim: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/olin/10_olin/10olin1... Is it possible I just am not understanding? It certainly sounds like full privilige will be granted. This is important to me because the person drives drunk consistently, and may have my kids in his
After a second DUI, a person can get a RESTRICTED license if they install the IID and enroll in the DUI program.

VC 13352 says that the license is a restricted license. The letter you refernce is not a letter from the DMV and...
Can you drive freely after getting the IID installed on a second DUI conviction in CA, or is it restricted driving?
I was under the impression that after 90 days of suspension, you could apply for an IID restricted license, and at that time could drive to/from work or a court ordered alcohol program (in other words a restricted license). Now I have heard that after the IID is installed you can drive freely as long as you long as you pass your IID test when you go to start your car. Which one is right? Thank you!
With the installation of the IID device you are granted a restricted license that allows you to drive to and from work...
My ex just got his second dui in 5 years. Will i have any trouble getting sole physical custody of the kids now?
Some background: we both signed the no drinking/illicit drugs stipulation upon our separation. For the past 2 years he has repeatedly brokin the stipulation, and in a way that endangers the kids (drinking and driving with the kids in the car).
You really should post this question in the family law section. Will it look good that your ex has 2 DUI’s in 5 years...
