A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former Paden City police chief Joseph Richardson who allegedly violated the terms of his bond agreement. During a special meeting Friday, Paden City Council fired Richardson, who was suspended in October pending the outcome of domestic battery and unlawful restraint charges in Tyler County Magistrate Court. As the nation celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day today, Zion Baptist Church in Parkersburg hosted a Martin Luther King Jr. Day service Sunday afternoon with around 30 people attending. Comment?

Thomas Andrews, 35, and Closure Snell, 25, both in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, both from Columbus, were arrested Jan. 5 on kidnapping charges. According to the criminal complaints, Snell and Andrews entered the vehicle operated by the two victims and restrained them against their will. Comment?
