Should attorney come to police station with me to pick up citation? And can someone other than person being cited pick it up?
Underage, but legally an adult, got drunk and took Metra train. Departed train in Park Ridge, IL and fell asleep in a park. Police woke him up, confiscated his driver's license and a fake ID. Was taken to local hospital, evaluated, then picked up from hospital by parent. No ticket or citation issued at incident. Three days later officer called his cell phone and asked him to stop by the police station for a psych evaluation. Called back to inquire about this, desk officer checked records and said actually the officer was issuing a citation. Need a lawyer to come with to the police station? The individual has consistent ADHD influenced poor decision-making, long history of it.
The "individual" should not go to the police station unless and until he has consulted with an attorney and the...

Are there legal guidelines to N.A. A.A. Classes?
I'm in enrolled in a N.A. Class for probation, upon enrolling I refrained from drug use. The counselor in the class has every one take a drop upon enrolling which is sent to the lab and a drop 30 days after. I did not use any illegal drugs while enrolled however a dip test drug screen came back positive for marijuana. I requested it to be sent to the lab for further testing and she refused and attempted to charge me for a few extra classes. I understand that everyone's body is different and I was a heavy user but I'm pretty sure most of it was out of my system if not all and the lab could've proved that and told exact levels which could determine close to the last time marijuana was used. Can she refuse to send my results to the lab?
1st: A.A. and N.A. are NOT classes. It's where you share your past experience with alcohol and drugs. The other...

Do I have a case to sue the police department for wrongful arrest?
I was driving at night on a dark narrow road. I was pulled over by a police officer because he said he saw me going over the median. He then kept asking if I was drunk or was on drugs. I did not have any alcohol or drugs at all. He then asked me to do a sobriety test and I told him I had a bad knee( I am 65 years old). He said I failed the test and arrested and handcuffed me. He then took me to the hospital to get a blood and urine test. Then later to the police station. He kept me there for a while then finally realsed me. He also charged me with improper lane change, DUI drugs. At the court date they finally found the reports came with no trace of alcohol or drugs. I had to pay for the other violations, but they dropped the DUI drugs charge. I was humiliated and spent money for something I never did. I was very cooperative also. Please assist me in determining if I have a case. Thanks,
The easy answer is, yes, you can sue anyone for anything. The real question is can you prove your case and if so, what...
