I was sentenced to a misdemeanor DUI & was given 6 days of SWAP. I completed 5 out of the 6 then things got messed up. Now they are saying I have to report to jail for the one day to finish my sentence. I am wondering, what is going to happen to me if I turn myself in & how to I guarantee that I will only be in jail for that 1 day? Or how can I keep myself from going to jail for that one day???? PLEASE HELP!!!! I'm new to all this, never been in trouble before & I am very scared right now.

I am eligible to re-instate my license with restrictions for multiple DUI in a few weeks. I am required to install an IID, have insurance SR-22 etc. However, I have an exemption because I do not have a car. Here is the problem...I am being told I cannot re-instate my license because I don't have the IID or insurance or a car therefore I don't need a license, but I can't get insurance or a car because I don't have a license. I can't have an IID installed because I don't have a car to install it in which I can't do because I don't have a license. It has been suggested by DMV to have a friend/family member 1) purchase a car, insurance, install the IID for me in my name or 2) have the IID installed in a friend/family members car under my name or 3) drive without it until my prob is up 2015

he was in a wreck and the cops didnt notify me when i got to the hospital DR. had already glued his head i was there 5min and they let him leave. then i got a call saying the car was stolen and he was being charged with a dui the car wasnt turned in stolen intel the next day He wasnt in the car when they found him he wast the driver but the only one they found

So I was told to come back and speak with the DA. I spoke to a secretary and briefly explained what was going on. She asked for my name which I provided her, and she then recited my address and asked if it was correct. My address was correct and she said that I would be notified by mail. Initially I called around before my trial to obtain a lawyer but nobody would give me a consultation and said that 1st offense misdemeanor DUI's are standard punishments and it would be a waste of my money to hire them for my case. I did find this a little odd but I then decided to represent myself. No I am at a loss as to what to do. I really need to get this resolved as soon as possible as I really need to get things going on getting my license back as I need my car very bad for work,

Went to run errand - while leaving store, began 2 feel dizzy - went 2 go home immed.! - dizziness increased, went 2 pull over - low & behold, officer pulled me over?! (lucky I guess/small town actually). Anyway, I was ARRESTED! Went to hospital/blood showed no alcohol, NO abuse, etc. ----> I had ADVERSE REACTION TO PRESCRIBED MED (Soma - now - no longer avail at my dr's office, may be taken off mkt, ++) So, I'm DEVASTATED I'm a 54 yr old handicapped woman caught in this loop hole. THEN however I DID do a stupid thing, drove while license suspended (from this arrest). Wondering what offer pub def should make. Probably getting 28 days. **My health: need much care/equip, i.e.breath mach, wheel chair, walker, leg lifter, etc. WHAT if anything other than 28 days/can pub def. go for? Tks!
