I was convicted of a Physical Control violation and was sentenced to 6 months probation. during the 6 months I had done well, my probation officer had forgotten to inform me of a new meeting date, and as such, I have a warrant for a failure to appear and I don't know why... I am currently working very diligently to get into the Navy and I don't know if this will affect me now. This was all a fist time thing for me and I never would have wanted to mess this up on purpose. Ohio is a tricky state and im scared as to whether or not ill be in jail if I go to court to address this and essentially turn myself in. thank you so much and please help!
Well...your PO is not going to admit that he failed to inform you of the date. That being said YOU are responsible....
Are there any guide lines the police have to follow in order to arrest for dui? Is the smell of alcohol enough? Does the state mandate that the police ask any questions, perform any test, do the police have to ask the person to preform the test? DO THE POLICE OFFICERS HAVE ANY GUIDE LINES OR DO THEY JUST DO WHATEVER THEY WANT TO. Thanks for any information you may be able to help me with. Thanks
In nearly every police report across the nation on a dui charge these statements will be made, there was a strong odor...
What are the chances of getting drivers license back early? My license was suspended for three years for felony 3 dui in Montgomery county common pleas court.
If a judge suspends your license because you were convicted of an offense that provides for a suspension, you can...

How do I tell someones probation officer about a violation? What information do I need? Can I stay confidential always?
I know a lady is on probation for driving under the influence 4 or 5 different times but she would not take a urine test or a breathalyzer test . She was finally put on probation but she wont stop her drug use and alcohol drinking. She calls and yells at me and calls her son all kinds of names and threatens them and I when she is under the influence. I am 16 years old and her 2 sons are 18 and 13 years old. Her husband does the same thing as she does but is threatening his 18 year old son. But she never gets caught. I'm scared someone is going to get hurt. I would like to tell her probation officer but don't want to tell her probation officer if she will find out it was me. Will she find out it was me? I also don't know what kind of information I need? Can I just call her P.O?
If the law is being broken, call the police. If you think there is a violation of her probation you can call the PO,...
Very drunk, entered wrong duplex & fell asleep. Charged with F-2 Burglary. Have prior petty theft charges. What can I expect?
I was drinking with my cousin a couple weeks ago. He lives in a duplex on a street that has several identical duplex homes in a row. We got severely intoxicated and visited his neighbors (who live in an identical duplex). After a few more hours of drinking, I attempted to saunter back to his home. I mistakenly went inside the duplex next-door to my cousin's home. I went to sleep & was woke up by the police. They charged me with Felony-2 Burglary. The door was unlocked, nothing was taken, nobody was harmed, there was no confrontation with the residents. I waived my prelim & sent the case to the grand jury. I have 3 months to have this resolved. In July my county's Children's Services agency is going to make a "final decision" on custody of my sons. Any advice appreciated.
If convicted you could serve 2-8 years in prison. From the facts you have described, it seems that you have a good...
In 2008 I was convicted by plea agreement of misdemeanor OVI, however I was not 21 at the time, and this was apparently before the creation of OVUAC for persons under 21. Is there any way to have my conviction changed to the OVUAC, or are there any legal grounds for overturning the conviction based on the fact that it happened through a plea agreement to a charge I evidently should not have been able to plea to since it was a full fledged OVI when apparently it should have been a OVUAC?
I know of no way to change a conviction so old. If you had just entered a plea today or yesterday you could seek to...
