A corporate hair salon allowed a drunk stylist to do my disabled wife's hair and cut all her hair off and cut her eyeglasses.
My disabled wife went to a corporate hair salon after the salon manager assured her that the stylist was great. The stylist was intoxicated and cut all my wife's hair off and cut her eyeglasses while my wife was wearing them. When my wife asked about the cut, the drunk stylist became agitated and my wife's ptsd manefested and she was scared and just wanted to get away and traumatized. The manager attempted to fix the cut. It will take 5 years to get back the hair she lost and she's terrified of ever having her hair cut again. Can I file legal action and if so, do I sue the corporation or the stylist personally?
You can file a lawsuit for anything and against anyone. Now, as to whether the law will allow you to recover for...

I am currently in the DUI Court program in Hall County Georgia I have been in the program since August of 2015. I was supposed to graduate last November 2016 however I relapsed twice and now the second time they're accusing me of a relapse I swear I didn't do it they put me on a residential warning last time this happened so I ran because I knew they were going to lock me up right then and God knows how long it would be before I got into a rehab I wasn't able to get my fairs in order. Can I leave and go to Florida and stay gone for the remainder of my probation I'm not in DUI court for a DUI I'm in DUI court for violation of probation but my judge is the same judge that runs DUI Court I've already completed two full probation while in the program I have no pending charges but I do have to pay pending cases after this on probation can I go to Florida and not have to worry that they're going to come get me?

What happens if the arresting officer in a DUI case does not show up at the first nor second scheduled criminal hearing?
My son was arrested for DUI. The officer showed up for the ALS hearing but did not show up for the criminal hearing. My son's lawyer, the Solicitor then called the officer and agreed to lesser charge of Reckless Driving but another court date was made. The officer did not show up for the second scheduled hearing. When the Solicitor and lawyer called him again he stated that it was his day off. Now he is refusing to acknowledge the agreement he had made with the lawyer.
You've already had the second hearing. So what has been decided between the defense attorney and prosecutor? Every case...
I'm representing myself for my drivers license hearing ?
I've read a million of these. I need actual advice. I was recently arrested for a dui. I rolled my car at 2am. I have my drivers license hearing on may 31 2017. I was charged with failure to maintain, open container of an old empty airplane bottle, expired tags, metal showing on tire and a dui. I've never been in any trouble. I didn't necessarily refuse all test, I was knocked unconscious and when the police arrived I was out of it. I wasn't in the car when they got there. When they read me the orange card I said " I don't understand what your saying" he didn't take my physical drivers license. He said it "wasn't on person" when it was in my car. My public defender never contacted me and I found a lawyer that would work with me on payments but I haven't given him any money. I talked to the judges assistant and tried to get a continuance and I don't think that's gonna work in such a short time frame. (Monday is a holiday) If no one has any other ideas, i guess I'm representing myself. I CANNOT lose my license with no chance of a work permit. I'm self employed and my business fully relies on me being fully mobile. What do I do?!
What do you do? You pay the attorney to represent you. Otherwise you are up the creek and your boat has a hole in it....

Will my husband and I be able to avoid license suspension moving out of state?
This question is really for just in case. My husband and I have decided to move out of Georgia, a state that we're told doesn't share license records, to Louisiana. I'm currently awaiting a phone call about a court date to try and finish up my court stuff. Our only problem is if we go out of state, they don't give me enough of a heads up to drive 8 hours here to go to court. I was pulled over around a year ago now for passing a stopped school bus, which should have been an automatic license suspension, but they gave me a chance to do a few things to get a lesser charge. I'm working on trying to get it all out of the way as soon as possible to avoid the bad ticket, but if I'm unable to, will my license get suspended out of state?? In my husband's situation, he has a suspended license and was recently arrested for driving on a suspended license. Which is supposed to be another 6 months to one year suspension. Would he be able to get a license in Louisiana or no? I'm not sure at all about this whole license sharing thing between states.. I've read a lot online that confirms what we've been told but we have to be sure.
In order to get a license in a new state you will need to have a valid driver's license. The one way you will know for...
