The Oak Forest Police Department reminds residents to fasten their seat belts and drive sober during the Thanksgiving holiday or run the risk of receiving a ticket. The police department is joining the Illinois Department of Transportation , the Illinois State Police, and local law enforcement agencies across the state to save more lives by strongly enforcing seat belt and impaired driving laws. Vanessa T. Perez-Rivera, 32, of the 1200 block of S. Fourth Street in Aurora, was arrested for No Valid Drivers License, No Insurance, Failure to Properly Secure Child Under 8 and Driving Without Lights When Required following a traffic stop in the 16000 block of 127th Street. Ms. Perez-Rivera was issued a December 16 court date at the Bridgeview Court House. Comment?
