How do I go about getting my drivers license back after three DWI's

Can I be drug tested during my prenatal care without my knowledge or consent?
I was drug tested at my first prenatal appointment without my knowledge or consent and only became aware when I received the invoice. I was not told that I would be tested for drugs at that appointment when they informed me of all other tests. It was also not brought up at all by the clinic at the following appointment.
This would be better suited for an attorney handling medical claims, but you should check with the documentation for...
Can a nearly 20 year old misdemeanor probation violation warrant (DUI) be quashed in Ramsey County, Minnesota?
From 1998 I have a couple warrants from not completing probation on two DUI'S. I moved out of state to get away from bad influences and have since graduated college and have a career, family, etc. I would like to have this taken care of if possible. I've talked with a few attorneys and they say I must return to MN and do up to 1 year in jail. I'm not going to do that. Ever. But I do have money to pay the courts, if it pleases the court. I'm seeking an attorney to represent me in absentia for a motion to quash, if possible. Even if the attorney can negotiate with the prosecutors office to see if they will work with a large fine or something, I'd be interested. Any recommendations (other than return to MN and do you time, etc)?
You may be able to negotiate a resolution like that with the prosecutor through your attorney but the devil is in the...
Can I request a portion of a dui sentence to be vacated by writing a letter to the judge and prosecuting attorney?
About three years ago I was convicted of a felony dui. I have satisfied all of my conditions related to the case except one, a yearly alcohol monitor that I must use for a period of one month each year I am on probation. I would like to ask for this condition to be vacated as I am a professional in a work situation where I do not wish for my co-workers to be aware of my legal past. Using this monitor during work hours is very difficult to be discrete. Is there a specific way to go about this on my own, or do I need legal representation? Thank you for your help Bob
Bob, first thing, are you subject to review hearings each year of probation? This condition is usually imposed by the...
Was my assumption right, and the state goofed up?Or is it mandatory to obtain the ignition system and drive with it for a year?
I received a DWI three years ago. I pondered taking advantage of the ignition interlock program so that I could keep my driving privileges. It was my understanding, that I could go through this program if I wanted my driving privileges or needed for work, or take the already in place 1 year suspension. I chose to take the year suspension and after 1 year, I went and retook the test, and boom.. My license was reinstated. I had a valid driver's license but I did notice one small issue. On the back of my DL, it says "Ignition interlock required". I never thought too much into it because I had been pulled over a couple times in the last 2 years and I didn't get any static. However, I was pulled over two weeks ago, and got a ticket for it, and now I have a court date!!! If this is a necessary program, how was I able to get my license reinstated in the first place??
You need to check with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety to see if your license required compliance with the...
Would I still need proof of attending court ordered AA to get a driving license back in MN after a dozen years?
So back in 2004 I got a DWI blowing a .16 and my sentence included some conditions which I completed (MADD meeting, Riverwind classes, paid fines and 30 days in Anoka workhouse) and one I did not which involved attending some 10 AA meetings. At the time I believed alcohol wasn't a problem for me. My problem then was depression and I knew it. Anyway I'm sick of being a loser with no license and want to get normal again. Will I still have to prove the AA was done to the DMV? I guess I could go but it would be ridiculous at this point to attend. I hope the state would consider my abstaining from alcohol good enough. Worth mentioning is the fact I haven't drank in 9 years now, all purely by choice. Not a sip, zero. Could getting a legal professional aid in this? I don't want to take away from those attending these meetings nor will I admit to a problem that never truly existed. Yes I know I should have did as was directed of me back then. My life by any measurement, would be much simpler today. I don't know that i can prove the stuff i did complete even. So what should I do now? Thank you.
Yes. You should be eligible to get your DL back. There is no AA requirement to get your license reinstated in MN....
My dui citation isn't in the system? Did I actually get charged?
I recieved a citation for a dui December 3rd, 2016 (over two and a half months ago) and it is still not in the system. When I call in they say there's no record of it (so I also have no idea how much my fine is), and I have yet to receive my court date. I was with my boyfriend and he got an underage drinking ticket at the same time but that was in the system within 10 days. Is this long a normal time frame? Or did my ticket get lost or something? I would just like to know what exactly should I do in this situation, and if I'm actually going to get charged.
It's hard to say. It's possible that the prosecutor just hasn't filed the charges against you yet. Did they do a blood...
