Penalties of a first DUI in MT with a FL driver's license
I was pulled over in MT for "reckless driving" (my transmission seized up) and was subsequently charged with a DUI--refused breathilizer at the scene. I pled NG at a prelim and Judge allowed me to leave the StAte (was in MT for temporary job). I have a FL dl and since I pled NG still am driving. I have a PD in MT who thanks the reckless driving charge will be dropped due to the provable car issue but what happens to my FL license if I get convicted ?

Could I be charged and convicted of underage drinking if I admit as a witness for a dui trial that I had been drinking?
I was just served a witness subpoena for one of my friend's dui trial. I was in the back seat when he was arrested for dui after failing a field sobriety test (he refused the breathalyzer test). Its been 5 month since the event and I had not heard anything about it just that he was taking it to court but since this was from the state attorney I was wondering what type of questions they were going to ask me. I had been drinking that night, I'm only 19, and if they ask me that and I admit to it could I face charges myself or are they going to be more concerned with my friends trial?
You cannot be prosecuted without proof that corroborates your statement against interest. This is called the "corpus...
I was arrested for the very first time, charged with DUI and possession of marijuana under 20 grams, what's gonna happen to me?
Thanksgiving Eve, I made the terrible decision to go pick up the turkey and christmas ornaments from our old house after drinking a couple of beers. I was arrested in Melrose FL by Alachua County. I refused the breathalyzer, but did the sobriety test. My sister had just made it home on leave for a few days before deployment, and I was more determined getting the house ready for her and her friends than for my own good. I've never even gotten a ticket before in my life, and I've only ever drank or smoked anything a handful of times at social celebrations. As far as the weed goes, I had under a gram and I was also charged for possession of drug equipment (marijuana pipe). I'm a twenty one year girl that has tried to do nothing but the right thing my whole life and I fully understand what a terrible mistake I made. I don't have any substance abuse problems, but was released to court services. What are the consequences?
You are not typically going to get a jail sentence for first time misdemeanor DUI, paraphernalia or cannabis sentence....
If I take a deal and plead guilty for 30 days jail. How many days will I actually serve?
2nd dui, 30 days County or in-house rehab, which could be up to 60 depending on program.
Rehab is the better choice, of course, but there are glitches in getting a bed, you might have to wait in the county...
Will an old DUI affect me getting a CNA?
Had a DUI 11-12 years ago. I did DUI court and probation, fulfilled all my obligations. I haven't even had so much as a speeding ticket since then and prior to that, I was never in trouble at all. I am considering becoming a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in Florida. Will this DUI affect me? Interestingly, I was assigned to a nursing home for my community service hours as part of sentencing and they wanted to hire me back then. Granted, I wasn't trying to become licensed for anything at the time. Please help!
