Can I move back to UK while on DUI probation?
I an on DUI probation and have a green card expiring 2019. Can I move back to the UK without issue. I have no further interest in staying in US.
That's a question having to do with UK law. Begin by contacting your nearest UK consulate and asking.
Can I be charged with a DUI based solely on medical records if not requested by a peace officer?
I was driving and swerved into another lane and hit a driver on the side of his car. There was no evidence of intoxication at the scene. I was not arrested, and police did not question me, nor did they suspect anything, but I was given a traffic citation. The offenses are 'failure to stay in lane', and 'failure to control speed.' Hospital drew blood and I had over the legal limit. Can I be charged with a DUI based solely on the hospitals testing?
Short answer: yes, you can be charges with DWI under the fact pattern you describe. Start talking with local attorneys.
Can someone with a PENDING DWI get a name change in Texas? I really hope I can now but if not, can I AFTER I am convicted?
I am in Texas and am attempting to change my last name. I seem to meet most requirements however I notice that one of them is "No offense has been charged against Petitioner above the grade of class C misdemeanor (If offense has been charged, list the offense, case number and court of offense)". The first half of that sentence is clear, but the second half leads me to believe they could approve it depending on the crime. If I can do the name change while it is pending, would hiring an attorney help improve my chances of having it be approved?

Which one is the the right lawyer for a DUI being on Daca?
It was a First time offense and a misdemeanor the front drivers tire popped on him making him crash in to a fence.
Consult criminal defense counsel and immigration law counsel.
Will I be charged with a DWI if there was no Field Sobriety Test or breathalyzer test administered?
I fell asleep in my car parked in a parking lot waiting for a friend to bring me gas as my vehicle had stopped working due to the tank being empty. There was no field sobriety test or breathalyzer test administered, but admitted to the officer that I had three beers throughout a 2 to 3 hour period roughly 4 hours before he found me in my parked car. The only sign he saw of me being possibly being inebriated is my voice was slurred for the first couple of minutes directly after he woke me up, but was back to normal after those minutes.
Yes, you can be charged and convicted with no tests.
First DWI and first time ever being in trouble. Violated Bond condition, what are ALL the plausible outcomes?
Hello. I am currently on bond supervision for my first DWI charge in Harris County Tx Court #7, I've never been arrested before. It's been 3 months that I've been on bond supervision and have done everything perfectly except for the other night where I blew for two violations on my interlock device. My lawyer says all we can do is wait and see, I know worst case scenario would be bond revocation, but what are the better outcomes to this? Is it possible for this to get overlooked by my bond supervisor? Can I avoid going to jail and get more conditions instead? Maybe an extension on interlock requirement? Verbal admonishment by Judge Pam Derbyshire? I also was not consuming alcohol, I was unaware that some pain relief oral products contain alcohol.
Worst case scenario is jail. As for more conditions, why would the judge do that again when it didn't work the first...
Can the same charges be brought against you for a second time?
I was arrested in March for Dwli and booked under someone elses name. In May I was rearrested and the charge was then placed on the correct name. I was incarcerated for 90 days. I payed for what I thought was a top rated attorney, that I could never get in touch with. Due to me wanting to be released from jail, I plead guilty and was placed on probabtion. The charge in question was dismissed that day and released from jail placed on probation for other pending charges. The deputy I believe out of spite that arrested me contacted me last week and informed me that he recharged me and that I was needing to surrender? How is this even possible? I believed once I plead guilty all charges I was being held for were to run concurrent and to be resolved. I have been a model probationer and I am terrified of my probabtion being revoked for something I felt was behind me. I already felt terrorized by the justice system and now I am back to square one. What are my options?
When you plead guilty and there are other charges pending that are supposed to be dismissed, the attorney should make...
