I received the "other" status because the officer started with accusing me of drinking or being drunk, after I told him I was in fact not drunk and had not been drinking at all, he insisted that "I just tell Him" after I began to refuse and ask him what he was trying to do, he began to threaten field sobriety tests and the breathalyzer, which I agreed to, upon my consent, he does a complete 360 and administers no tests, breathalyzer nor field sobriety tests, however he stated I'll just take you in because I don't like the way you look, because you don't look right to me"(this is a hot day in june I am sweating profusely) I was taken to jail and i had to submit a urine sample, I know 1000 percent that the urine sample contained no alcohol, he marked it other because it would cover a wide
The information in your question has nothing really to do with being eligible for a court appointed attorney. That is...
I was recently stopped during a road block. The officer gave me a field test in which he said my eyes were shaky and I might be under the influence of marijuana. I was taken into custody, but never was given a drug test. Can I still be convicted even without a test?
Yes, it is possible to convict someone of a DUI without any scientific evidence. The evidence may depend on the...
My brother has court Thursday. One night he got really drunk and assaulted his mom that he lives with. She had a bruised cheek and a chipped knee that was the worst of the damage. She called the police and had him arrested. She went to the hospital and they took pictures and recorded her injuries. He is 29 and this is his first assault charge. Im just wondering if he is going to go to jail or possibly be given a big fine. She is not pressing charges. she expects the police or hospital to do it. this is his first offense for assault and battery, but not first he has had previous offences for DUI.
It is impossible for any us on here to competently tell you what is going to happen without thoroughly reviewing every...

I received a DUI in October 2007 my attorney plead guilty in April 2008 {I wasn't there because he told me the wrong date} but the abstract says the conviction was April 2009. The attorney on there wasn't my attorney. I really need the correct conviction date on the abstract is there anyway to fix this. Thank you please help im desperate. I was under the impression if you plead guilty you cant appeal the case anyway. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP
You may be able to file a Motion to Correct the Judgment, but your time to do this may have already run. If you are...
I was sitting in my vehicle on a rural country road talking to my elderly mom at 7:44 pm when a cop pulled up behind me and got out of his vehicle and came up to my truck and ask me to step out, put my hands on the hood, then patted me down, took me to jail (he said), for public drunk. When I got to the jail and I verbally protested his action(s), he then trumped up the charges, DUI, failure to comply (what), using profanity on a public Road? All I did was protest being arrested because I was not drinking alcohol, only sprite, I was not driving, only sitting, the vehicle was not even running. They took me to the jail and they stripped search me, they put me in a holding cell until next day. They taped a ticket up on the cell glass door that showed a DUI charge.
I would advise hiring an attorney. While it is an expense, it is worth it in the long run. Many municipalities will...
