In support of Operation City H.E.A.T. , the Mobile Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killers of 12 murder victims in 2016. Mobile Police Chief James Barber explained that the most recent in a series of unsolved homicide cases that has shocked our community was the murder of De'Launa Powell Anderson on October 18, 2016 at approximately 4:12 a.m. "De'Launa began her day like many of us," Chief Barber said. The murder of 24-year-old Delauna Anderson sent shock waves through the city of Mobile, after she was gunned down while sitting at a stop sign early Tuesday morning on October 18. After a week filled with controversial remarks by Mobile Police Department Chief James Barber and his wife on Facebook, a vigil was held in Anderson's honor on Friday, October 21 and a posthumous memorial was set up near her home. Bracy has set up a gofundme account where anyone can donate to a reward fund for information leading to a arrest in the case. Comment?
