The South Dakota Attorney General's office says a Mitchell police officer was justified in shooting and killing a man earlier this month. In a summary report, Attorney General Marty Jackley said Officer Russell Stevenson helped in responding to a noise complaint in the 500 block of North Mentzer Street at approximately 1:46 a.m. September 4. Officer Stevenson found 37-year-old Curtis James Meyer sitting on the ground. Comment?
