Authorities say the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit have made an arrest in the murder of a taxi cab driver from Millsboro, Delaware. Police say 23-year-old Joshua J. Dutton was arrested on Friday for murder first degree and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony for the murder of 45-year-old William Toomey . Comment?

Delaware State Police troopers this week charged a 19-year-old Rehoboth Beach man and a 24-year-old Millsboro man in connection with a series car break-ins and a shooting incident that occurred in the Reserves of Nassau development in Lewes in August. According to the DSP, the incident occurred on Thursday, Aug. 21, about 4 a.m., at a residence in the 17000 block of King Philip Way. Comment?

In the early morning hours of August 21, 19 year old Montrell Burton of Rehoboth Beach, and 24 year old Paris J. Boyer of Millsboro, broke into a home on the 17000 block of King Philip Way. Comment?

Police have charged two men - one from Rehoboth and another from Millsboro - in connection with a robbery and shot fired at the Reserves of Nassau Aug. 21. Through investigations of this incident and several other similar thefts in the Lewes and Rehoboth areas, police identified Montrell T. Burton, 19, and Paris J. Boyer, 24, said Sgt. The Delaware State Police this week arrested a registered Tier 2 sex offender living near Millsboro after an investigation revealed alleged sexual abuse of a child in his care. Detectives with the Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit in Georgetown arrested John T. King, 65, of Millsboro, on Wednesday, Aug. 27, after an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a 3-year-old girl followed an examination of the girl at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital on Friday, Aug. 22. Police said the examination was conducted due to some complaints of soreness in the girl's lower body. Comment?

What started out as a police questioning into the hit-and-run of a parked car resulted in the car's registered owner heading to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Michael W. Rogers, 53, became aggressive and unruly during questioning Thursday night at his Georgetown-area home and when a Delaware State trooper's Taser didn't subdue the suspect, he fired his weapon, striking Rogers more than once.
