If I take a deal and plead guilty for 30 days jail. How many days will I actually serve?
2nd dui, 30 days County or in-house rehab, which could be up to 60 depending on program.
Rehab is the better choice, of course, but there are glitches in getting a bed, you might have to wait in the county...
Will an old DUI affect me getting a CNA?
Had a DUI 11-12 years ago. I did DUI court and probation, fulfilled all my obligations. I haven't even had so much as a speeding ticket since then and prior to that, I was never in trouble at all. I am considering becoming a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in Florida. Will this DUI affect me? Interestingly, I was assigned to a nursing home for my community service hours as part of sentencing and they wanted to hire me back then. Granted, I wasn't trying to become licensed for anything at the time. Please help!
This is not a criminal defense question; It is an administrative / regulatory / licensing question, and no lawyer can...
What am I looking at? I'm in FLORIDA
I hit a vehicle last week with five children and one adult I am probably going to be facing a DWI or DUI when the blood stream and urine screen analysis come back I have never had a DUI or DWI and I am so nervous I've talked to my attorney briefly and I'm trying to figure out my expenses I'm just wondering what am I looking at there is bodily injuries on my insurance claim I have been to jail once for under 1 gram of marijuana I passed all the field sobriety test on scene couldn't pass the 4th one agreed to not consent to it cause I didn't understand the 4th test, transported by ambulance to the hospital and they got their blood and urine I have no idea what I should do and what I'm facing but I know DWI or DUI with bodily injury is a felony if I'm correct, I really don't want to be on probation I rather serve jail time but is this going to be a knock on the wrist or am I in a lot of trouble?
It depends on how serious the injuries are. Blood draw DUI's are very complicated. You need to talk to your lawyer...
Am I going to go to jail for not being able to pay my fines and classes for probation(dui.)
I got a dui in 2014(first time), plead guilty in 2015. Haven't had any problems. But my probation is supposed to end in February and I haven't been able to pay my fines or for my dui class. I was like two months pregnant when I plead and I lost my job when I was like six months pregnant and couldn't find another one being that far along. I had my son last month but still probably not going to be able to get a job and have enough money to pay everything before February. I'm starting my community service next week. Do I have any options to take care of this without going to jail? Can I get a judgement? Community service? Anything???
You do have options. Hire an attorney to help keep you out of jail. An attorney can best help explain your...

How do I get a hardship or license?
I moved to FL from SC but kept my SC drivers license. A few months later, I got a DUI (in Florida) but still had my SC license. I have been to court in FL, signed up for the Florida DUI class, and started probation. I tried to apply for a FL hardship, but they couldn't help me because my conviction was sent back to SC. SC offers a provisional license, but it's not valid out of state and I still live in Florida. I was hoping to drive a scooter to work but I can't do that in FL either. Please help!
I previously had a case involving a SC resident who moved to FL and got a DUI as you did. It seems like a never ending...
21 yr old daughter with 1st time DUI w/ accident, no injuries. Clean record. 0.2 on breathalyzer. What is typical outcome?
She feels she may have been drugged as she has no recollection of the latter part of the evening. No blood tests. No urine tests. Her friend will attest that she she left the pub she looked fine... But that I the point where my daughters recollection of the evening stops .... For approx 4 to 6 hours. What is typical outcome for first DUI and no other priors? Secondly ... What impact, I any, could the possible slipping of a date-rape drug to her have on this? I understand they leave thy quickly break down. The period of amnesia has never before been experienced by her, and she said she was only drinking light beer that evening.
It is not clear if you mean that her alcohol level was above the legal limit (which is .08) and that she blew over...
