The Bronx County Medical Examiner has declared a homicide in the death of Juan Mendoza-Torres, 23, a Mexican man who moved to New Rochelle two months ago. New Rochelle Police Detectives have been investigating the death since Mendoza died on March 29th after he was rushed to the hospital. Comment?

Gary Thibodeau's lawyer asked a judge at the Heidi Allen kidnapping hearing Tuesday to reconsider his decision to bar them from introducing evidence that possible suspect Michael Bohrer had abducted a woman in Milwaukee years before Allen disappeared. Bohrer and his brother John were staying at Spinners Motel in New Haven in 1994 - less than a mile from the convenience store where Allen was abducted on April 3 of that year, according to lawyers for Thibodeau, the only person convicted of kidnapping Allen.
