I recently got on ARD for my first DUI conviction (even though my BAC was only .066 and had PRESCRIBED medication in my system....I did not have money for a lawyer so I needed to get a public defender & she had advised me to take the ARD even though I wanted to fight the charges since I knew I was innocent). For the ARD, I need to complete classes & pay fines (which I have yet to start due to the classes haven't started yet. And I'm on probation for 1 year. Anyways, a month after I took the ARD agreement, I get into a fender bender and the police show up. They gave me field sobriety tests & said I failed so they took me to the hospital for blood to be drawn. I do not know what the results are but I know that I had PRESCRIBED medication in my system (plus MAYBE marijuana)
There is a likelihood of stiffer punishment with a second DUI conviction, to be sure. You should immediately contact...
i was at walmart & really needed a new cell phone so i tried to steal one. i made it past the metal detectors then this guy stopped me. and took me in this side room where all the computers are. i immediently gave him back the phone, charger, sim card, & battery. i NEVER stole anything in my life so i have no retail theft history. they took my ID & wrote down all my information & also took a picture of me. they had me sign a paper & handed me a paper which says Pennsylvania civil recovery statue & another paper that says asset protection recovery.... im 23 years old and im a single mother to my 3 year old son & im worried that my probation officer will find out & violate my probation & put me in jail . the cops did come there but they didnt write me a citation or take me to the station.
First, Do not post facts about your case or admit to anything on the internet. Second, Yes your probation officer will...
My license was suspended in 2007 for dui. I paid all the fines and restitution. I have a letter stating that once I paid a restoration fee my driving privlages were restored. I never paid the restoration fee. Can they send me to jail for driving on a dui suspended license
Yes they can. Infact Driving under suspension DUI related, which is what this would be is punishable by a mandatory 60...
I am a pa resident who was recently in Florida on vacation. During that time I was arrested and charged with a dui. My bac was over .15. As a part of my plea agreement I have pleaded guilty to criminal dui over .15 and will have my drivers liscence suspended for 6 months among other consequences My attorney in Florida says Pennsylvania will suspend my liscence. However I have discussed this with a few police officers in Pennsylvania who believe penn dot will not suspend since this is my first dui. But it will be on my pa record. I'm confused and concerned Will my pa liscence be suspended? Should I retain a pa attorney to protect my interests here in pittsburgh? Input is appreciated
There is likely nothing that a local attorney can do. Either PA is going to see and respect Florida decision or they...
I was convicted of my 4th DUI in 2010 (all in OR) and was sent to prison for 25 months. After parole, I completed all of my conditions (including treatment) and paid off all of my fines. My supervision finally expired back in 2013. Now I am planning on moving to Pittsburgh, PA in the near future. Will I be able to get a driver's license there when I move? I haven't been in any trouble since my last DUI in 2010. Thank you.
No you will not be able to get a drivers license if you have a lifetime suspension in one state. It will automatically...
I was taken to the hospital for a blood test. Had an arraignment and we are going to court for the case. We asked for a copy of the report at arraignment and was told they didn't have to provide it and it will be available in court.
Blood draw DUI cases require complex legal analysis and litigiation. Hire an experienced DUI defense attorney that...
Not sure if he's on probation or parole or an early release. Either way, he had curfews and rules to follow. When the father asked the PO what happens next, the PO said "nothing happens". This just doesn't make sense. What good is the system set up for this behavior when nothing happens after a violation?
What would you like to see happen? Why is this any of YOUR business?? It's not your kid, so don't worry about it.
