One of two men wanted in connection with a shooting in McKeesport last Tuesday that left one dead and two injured was arrested in West Virginia Monday, according to United States Marshal Steve Frank. Members of the United States Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force apprehended Roman Jones, 23, in Shinnston, West Virginia, around 12:30 p.m. Monday. Comment?

Allegheny County Police have issued two arrest warrants in connection with a homicide in McKeesport on Tuesday, Jan. 20, police said. Warrants for the arrest of Jonathan "BJ" Coles, 20, of McKeesport, and Roman Jones, 23, of Clairton, were issued on charges of homicide, aggravated assault, attempted homicide, conspiracy and weapons violations, Allegheny County Police said in a news release . Allegheny County police said the shooting started at Ohio and Brownlee streets, where the man and two women were hit. Officers said the male victim then tried running away from the scene, but detectives believe the shooters chased him down and continued to fire shots at him. Comment?

Wayne "We-Z" Cardiff, 23, of McKeesport, went to a Washington Boulevard home to visit his girlfriend this morning and began arguing with her step-father, Dennis Maskin, shortly before 9 a.m., police said. Mr. Cardiff told a detective that Mr. Maskin punched him in the face and the two fought, moving from the kitchen to the living room and then outside to the driveway. Comment?
