My husband has a restricted drivers license due to a dui, can he wait another year without an interlock and get a license?
My husband has had 1 DUI. He got suspended for a year and is now in a restricted license. We haven't been able to get him a vehicle to put the interlock in. But when we check the status of his license it says he's restricted and must have the interlock but he has a fulfillment date of October 2015. Can he just wait til the end of the date and get a normal license again without getting the interlock system? Or will he have to get an interlock no matter what? Thanks for the help!
I am not licensed in Kansas, but this question comes up quite a bit in California, where I am licensed. Usually, a...
My question is about IID time period.
I got my first and only DUI. Going on almost 5 years or so ago. I finished my probation and classes. Was cleared by the courts. But i dont have a car. And haven't had the money for one. Let alone for the IIDto be iinstalled plus the monthly fee. My question is there any limit of time for the need of a IID to stop? Or could i go another 50 years where i cant get my license back u ntill i get a car and install an IID to it for a year. Seems harsh. Since its been over 4 years since i was cleared for my Dui by the courts and i haven't drove in all of that time.
Yeah, I don't know any way to get out of the time requirement. Sorry man.
Regarding being misinformed by my lawyer about my license after my second DUI.
I am in KS. I resently plead to my second DUI. My lawyer told me my license was still good until the conclusion of my drivers license hearing. I was pulled over today and told my license was suspended March 27th because I had plead guilty. I was also told the drivers license hearing was a separate issue and that my license can be suspended twice. Can I do anything about my lawyer misinforming me in this issue?
that might make a good defense to the suspended license charge, i.e., acting under incorrect legal advice. I hate to...
Do I need lawyer for record expungement
I have a total of 3 DUI/DWI I'm the state of Kansas, 1 from '99, 1 from 2000 and 1 from 2013. Want to expunge the 2 older ones to reduce requirements to get my license back. From Kansas work traveling job so currently living in Missouri.
It is always less frustrating and wise to have an experienced criminal defense attorney to deal with expungement issues....
I have to get a blow machine in my car for 4 years for having multiable dwi is there any way i can get this reduced.
The dwi are in kansas. I have not touched acholal in 5 or six years. So if there is a way to get the 4 years reduced or not even get it at all. I can talk to a judge if i have to.
I am not licensed in Kansas, but this sounds like a good question to ask an experienced DUI attorney in Kansas. In...

Expungement is a right under state law. Check with an experienced criminal defense attorney in Kansas. Good luck to you.
Good morning. I have a friend who was driving under the influence while getting home.
Good morning. I have a friend who was driving under the influence while getting home. he managed to get home safe but hit a car badly while trying to park in the parking. No-one was there or was hurt. He went home to call his insurance while the police came. they asked him to do a breathalizer test which he declined. They then took him to the post and I think took him pictures and suspended his license and all and I think they gave him a DUI and a court appearance date. He is an international student who had never had any accident, or anything. Only one speeding ticket back in 2009. Since then he has been clean. He is currently out of status (after a Bachelor Degree in 2012) but he is studying his GMAT in order to start his MBA in the Fall. How bad is it?
How bad it is depends on many factors, primarily the results of any testing that he may have submitted to voluntarily...
