A 29-year-old Mexican man who admitted to tying up and holding a man hostage at a North McAllen home was sentenced Thursday to 40 years in prison, prosecutors say. Martin Margarito Casimiro, of Camargo, Tamaulipas, pleaded guilty to one count of kidnapping in May after police charged him in February for two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of unlawful firearms transport, court documents show.
