A man who was illegally in possession of a firearm was arrested on multiple charges by Marysville police officers Oct. 9. According to Marysville Division of Police incident reports, the man was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct, vandalism to government property, illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises and possession of weapons under disability. The latter charge typically refers to those who have been convicted of a felony, which makes it illegal for them to possess a weapon. Comment?

According to Marysville Division of Police reports, a resident of Preakness Place reported at 8:03 p.m. her 11-year-old son was bitten by a neighbor's dog which was a mixed-breed labrador. The reportedly dog broke free from his lead and chased the boy when he saw him playing football with his friend. Comment?

Union County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 23-year-old Delaware man for abusing harmful intoxicants at 9:08 p.m. Sept. 10. Deputies responded after receiving a report of a person inhaling chemicals inside a vehicle at a residence on Graham Street in Richwood. Comment?
