Parole officer filed a violation. Can I get more time added I have to serve time after having my baby. Recently found out I was pregnant. Help!
Your question is a little unclear. If the 14 days was for the 2nd DUI, not the violation, then yes, you could get more...
I was arrested for a DUI what happens when your blood screen results are negative?
I showed no HGN but because I didn't pass the FST the officer arrested me. I am almost 60 yrs old. I have arthritis bad enough I have trouble walking a lot of the time. It was almost 1:30am and I was in an unfamiliar town looking for the AT&T store where my boyfriend had left his truck. I was driving really slow looking for the building and the officer said I crossed the center line twice and then crossed the white line. I thought after he learned of my perplexed situation he would help me instead he saw an opportunity to arrest me. He told me I was "impaired" because I couldn't pass his Test. My eyes were fine and my speech was fine. And I know my blood test has to be negative. What are they going to do with me? I have never been so humiliated and insulted in my life.
No alcohol and no drugs in your system? The case should be dropped.
Had my license taken for a year from getting pulled over 2 times within 5 years with no insurance. Received my license back in
2012 and just got pulled over this month (jan 2013). Does the 5 year cycle not start over? Because I just received a letter stating that my license is suspended again for a year.

What is a customary fee schedule for a 1st DUI and how long do they usually take to resolve?
I was charged with a DUI 9/2015 with a 0.03 breath test in the field and negative on the blood and the only thing on my drug screen was Trazadone which I have taken for several years for sleep when I need it. This has been ongoing, it took until May to get the blood results back. My lawyer asked for $1000. up front, he travels 13 miles for the continuing court appearances which have totaled 3 visits of no more than 5 minutes, and the pre-trial which may have lasted a total of 10 minutes. I met with him for the first time in his office last Friday and he asked for an additional $3000. 1500 to cover the continuing visits to date and 1500 to go to a bench trial. I have been led to believe all along that this would most likely be dismissed, but for some reason the county attorney wants it taken forward. I have never been in trouble before. I feel like these fees are excessive.
Respectfully, I think the fees are quite reasonable. You are paying for time and experience. Your attorney spent...

Tricky situation with a past DUI and an SR-22 filing. Please help!
Hello! Years ago, I recieved a DUI with a California license, while I was a resident in the state of Kentucky in the state of Kentucky. After I fulfilled all of my requirements, I was told that I was on probation for 3 years to California even though I don't live there, and that I had to have an SR22. I found a non-owners SR22 for $30 dollars a month and had that for about a a year and a half. Then all of a sudden the policy changed to $200 dollars a month and I was out of the country so I couldn't afford it. So I had to cancel my insurance and my license is suspended again. I will have to get a new SR22 going again when I get home and working. My question is, will my 3 month probation period start all over again or will it still be only 3 months from original conviction? I'm just hoping I didn't waste a year and a half of SR22 payments for nothing. I'm really just wanting to be free from California and move on with my life. I just don't know how else I could have handled it. Is there any alternative to find an SR22 that isn't over 200/months. That's just too steep for me to handle as I'm just a waiter. Thank you for any help!
Unless there are extenuating circumstances, an SR-22 must be continually maintained. Shop around - rates can differ...
