Dui evidence
Can you use DMV transcripts as evidence which contain police officer's mistakes and verbal contraditions in a dui trial and as exhibits in your motions?
Yes, you can use a transcript to impeach the cop but you will an attorney to help you with this matter.

Dui motions in Limine, Suppress or dismiss.
What is your opinion on advantages/disadvantages for filing dui motions during a jury trial rather than filing them early during a readiness conference? If those motions are filed during a readiness conference, will that automatically postpone the jury trial date which is only a few days apart from the readiness? since motions are set to a calendar hearing and parties need enough time for oppositions and replies. Just wondering how all that is coordinated by the judge. Thanks
Defending a DUI case is not a DIY project. Retain counsel, you clearly have no idea what you're doing.
Dui Public Defender not efficient.
I am set for a readiness and trial for a dui refusal but I need to fire my PD asap so I can file my motions to suppress and limine before my readiness. Do I need to wait til the readiness hearing to notify the judge about me wanting to represent myself or can I just notify my PD right now by phone or email and proceed with filing those motions before the readiness. Or should I wait for the judge to give his permission to allow self representation. I think I have a better shot at it or at least it can not get any worse.
You'll need to court's permission to represent yourself--a universally terrible idea--and will be asked to complete a...
DUI Motion to suppress
Just curious. If you have strong grounds to do so can you file a motion to suppress evidence of a BAC test Refusal in California? If you have strong legal grounds to do so. Also can several motions be filed at once in one pleading such as: suppress, discovery, limine and motion to dismiss? Thanks
It sounds like you're representing yourself in a DUI case. I hope you will reconsider and either retain a private...
Under age - Out of state resident - DUI
I am 19 years old, I am working in California for the summer, and am subleasing a place here. I was pulled over and cited with VC 23136 - Zero tolerance Policy for a BAC of .035. I am a college student in Michigan. Would the DMV here communicate the information back to my home state? Keep in mind, that Michigan is not part of the Interstate Drivers License Compact. Is a DUI class/program required by the DMV here? Should I consider filing a 1650 waiver? I leave here at the end of August, because school starts early September. So there isn't enough time here to take the class. I graduate in 2018. I might be here again next summer, and maybe after I graduate. All depends on job offers.
Why are you accepting as fact you will be convicted? The facts of your case may result in a dismissal or acquittal....
