Can u get a passport with a dwi felony
Can u get a passport with a dwi felony
I would most definitely check with an immigration attorney about this, but my hunch is that yes, you certainly can and...
I got a DUI almost 2 years ago in Az. I went to court, got a $2100 fine, an alchohal class, and i need a blower in my car.
Now, i no longer live in Az,and i dont have a car,but will get 1 soon. Will I still need to get a blower for my car,or is there a statute to where i wont need to worry about one in Tx?
You will need more information for anyone to help you. Since you are not on probation and the AZ order has become final,...
I was told to sign a paper for violation of probation because i drove to my probation apt. I admited to it my licence are suspen
my probation officer asked were my licence suspended or revoked. told her suspended she folowed me out of the office and seen me get into my car. told me to come back in and had me sign a paper for violation of probation. and told me to call someone to pick me up or she would have the police get me.
You have not asked a question. If she saw you driving and know you are suspended, she could file a violation. You did...
Does Hunt County offer 2 for 1?
Just wondering.
As long as an inmate maintains good conduct, I have never seen a jail not offer good time in Texas.
If you break your probation for DWI and move to Mexico, can you get arrested if you fly back to the states for a visit?
My mother served 10 days in jail for a 3rd DWI offense in Texas. She was put on probation for 5 years. She decided to break her probation and moved to Mexico to retire. She did this out of deperation. She is 68 and would not be aloud to drive which would not afford her to work. Can she get arrested if she flies back to Texas or any other state to visit? Can Texas flag her passport?
Yes, as she enters the US, her identity will be checked against a computer database and the border agents will examine...
I would like help in understanding the DWI plea bargain / trial process?
Is there a way to raise the points of concern we have about an arrest/charges before accepting a plea ( not found driving, evidence of a blow out, breathalyzer administered many hours after accident and arrest, no blood tests despite obvious signs of impairment not typical of alcohol, etc)? Without going to trial, is there no way to fight for reduced/different charges? It seems strange that the charges are given and the only choices we have are either accept them or pay thousands of dollars for a trial. My son, who is the one actually facing the charges, just wants to "get this over with" and accept plea bargain (I know paying for a trial is out of his reach and think this is his primary reason for just wanting to accept a plea). Thank you so much~
Depends. In some jurisdictions, there's a no bargaining policy, but what you're saying doesn't make sense. First,...
Can I sue for false arrest? Arrested for DWI, passed blow test at scene and blood came back clear.
False arrest, discriminated against because of being a female over 40 years of age, obese and could not pass the field sobriety test (that is a proven to fail test for all). Was 100% sober when I was pulled over for going 12 miles over speed limit, respectful to officer and coherent. Asked over 20 times if I had anythingto drink and if I was in drugs.Repeatedly told him no and my blow test at scene clearly stated .00.Cop felt stupid in front of the back up cop bc I proved him wrong so he accused me of drugs. At jail, interrogated more by narcotics officer. Spent 24 hours in jail. Charged with DWI 2nd offense (got a DWI at 18 yrs old, I am 42 now). Had to have the interlock device in car for 7 months, after blood came back completely clear. Case finally got dismissed because DVD not provided
No, this isn't something you can sue for.
