In letters dated just days apart, the Texas Attorney General's Office and the FBI have rejected requests to release the records related to the death of a Livingston man on the Alabama-Coushatta reservation. Once the tribe rejected KTRE's request to release an arrest affidavit for Matthew Battise, KTRE requested the document from the FBI, which is assisting in the investigation. Comment?

Law enforcement officials have added a second charge to the head of Livingston ISD's ROTC program, who was arrested on allegations that he had an improper relationship with a 14-year-old student. The Livingston Municipal Court issued an arrest warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child for Herbert Nelson Lloyd late last week. Comment?

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers arrested a 19-year-old Cold Spring man early Thursday morning after he allegedly pointed a gun at another motorist on US Highway 59 and then tossed the firearm out the window when he was stopped in Livingston. Raymond Ajay Belowski is still being held in the Polk County Jail on three charges - possession of a prohibited weapon, tampering with physical evidence, and deadly conduct. Comment?

Officers with the Livingston Police Department arrested the head of Livingston ISD's ROTC program Wednesday in connection to allegations that he was having an improper sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student. "Polk County Sheriff's Office received information or a tip from CPS that an employee of LISD was having inappropriate relations, or contact with a 14-year-old student," said Lt. Comment?

A Polk County judge will issue an arrest warrant for a Livingston man who allegedly shot his neighbor twice in two separate incidents in October of 2015 after he was a no-show for his court hearing Monday. The two shooting incidents stemmed from a feud between Conrad Peak and the victim that started when the victim's dog urinated and defecated in Peak's yard. Comment?
