Last night, my girlfriend and I were rear ended by a intoxicated off-duty police officer and he fled approximated 1/2 mile from the scene before his vehicle stalled out. The officer was arrested for DUI and "hit and run". Also my girlfriend was taken to the hospital by an ambulance and I was driven to the same hospital after questioning and a statement at the police precinct. Also my vehicle was later claimed to be "totalled". I just wanted to hear some experts advice on my delicate situation at hand and find out what would be the possible spectrum of minimal and maximized judgements? (ie. insurance, personal lawsuits, and etc.)
The delicate situation is the one the off-duty police officer now finds himself in. Also, he is the one who needs...
is the test accurate and are there any flaws in it?

I got my first DUI in 2010 but it was settled in 2011 so I believe they are treating it as 2 in the last year. It was recommended to me by a family friend to get an assessment and enroll in DUI treatment to try and get some leniency from the Judge, I am gainfully employed have a Masters Degree and am honestly remorseful, the first DUI was taken seriously at all it was pleaded down to a traffic infraction if that makes a difference. I blew a .13 on the breathalyzer by the way. Them more I read about Kathleen Rice online it seems like I have just effectively ended my life. I just want to know am I definitely going to jail or if I work hard and am remorseful, hire a good attorney, get help for my obvious problem. do I still have a chance at having a life?

I received 2 DUI s in NJ 6 years ago . This past weekend , while visiting Baltimore , I was charged with trespassing . Will those prior DUI s effect my chances of avoiding jail time ? I understand I will have to pay a fine , but I really want to avoid jail time if possible .

I have been reading conflicting info saying if I am going in on a Thursday I should expect to be out on Saturday and other info saying I will be there until Monday, this is important because of my job. My lawyer mentioned something about 2 for 1 credits but she is unavailable now, any help would be appreciated.
On a local jail sentence you would have to serve 2/3 of the time

Hello i'm on a probation for 3 years for a DUI conviction this past December. Since then i've made every appointment to see my PO and attended a 28 day inpatient program in Jan. I've attended hundreds of AA meetings and had a relationship with a sponsor. A week ago I screwed up and received a pink summons for open container on a street in the morning in Queens. I know i shouldnt be drinking , i really regret this. I'm now worried if this will violate my probation and worse theyll send me to jail. I havent notified my PO about it, but i'd like to before she finds out. I'm the only person with my name in this city. A violation could screw up a new great professional job im starting and I really fear for my safety in a place like Rikers Island. What to do? :(
You must notify your PO as you said but get some serious treatment to prove to your PO this was a one time thing and...
