How long does a DUI conviction remain on the National Driving Registry??
some employers do a check of an applicants NDR records...will a DUI conviction from 23+ years ago still show on that report??.
It should. Convictions are like bad luggage. You are generally stuck with them for life.
I received a ticket for driving with a suspended license. But my DWI was dismissed and I was unaware that my license was invalid
I was even issued a new license at the DMV more than a week after my DWI arrest. Am I at fault? My drivers license has since been reinstated. I notified the DMV of the dropped charges. I was told that that courthouse never notified them. I live in a different state now, which is where i received my ticket. Now I'm being told that I might face a ridiculous fine and possibly probation for this miscommutication that I was completely unaware of.
It sounds like you got an ALR suspension as a result of your DWI.arrest. In Texas your license is suspended for 90...
What are my chances of going to jail for first DWI in frisco tx? I am a single mom and dont have any family here for help.
Got stopped after hitting curb for speeding cop never showed me or told me amount i went over, had me take sobriety test i knew everything that i was doing. They drew blood from me once i got back to the police station. Stayed a day in jail untill i got bonded out. I got charged with DWI i dont know my BAC the didint tell me. What can i do in my case? I have a son to take care of and i am confused and scared about all of whats coming next.
Go speak to the DA and request a plea offer. If you don't like it then you can get an attorney.

Unmarried couple, father has 2 PI's, DWI and Hit and Run what is the likely hood of him getting custody of our 15month old.
I live in Texas and I recently have split apart from my fiance. I have always taken care of my child and given him the best. His father has told me that he will not pay child support and will get full custody of our son. He has a DWI, 2 Public intoxication charges and a hit and run. I have nothing on my record, work full time, pay for my sons private school daycare, I moved back in with my parents where my son has his own room and I have my own room, I am currently attending college to get my RN degree to better my future for my son. What is the likely hood of him getting any visitation of our son. He also has a suspended drivers license as well as a breathalyzer in his truck to make it start.
Not likely if all the facts you have given are accurate.

I still told my P.O. right away that I checked it late, how much trouble will I get in?
If your probation officer doesn't have a problem, then you don't have a problem. Do whatever the PO tells you to do....
Can they charge this as a felony enhancement using the set aside out of state dui?
Got charged with 2nd dui in Texas, had a out of state DUI also, (3rd) but the conviction was set aside. The out of state set aside law states Set aside the judgment of guilt, dismiss the accusations or information and order that the person be released from all penalties and disabilities resulting from the conviction…
Can they? Sure they might try. However, if they try then your attorney will have a good argument to counter it, which...
