A defense team investigator can testify about a dead juror's 2013 statements about her state of mind in Justin Granier's high-profile Ascension Parish murder trial 10 years earlier. Judge Jessie LeBlanc of the 23rd Judicial District Court has found general prohibitions on using hearsay testimony - essentially a second-hand account - don't bar the defense investigator from testifying what juror Gladys Mobley told him in April 2013 about this case.

As a runner, Mark LeBlanc knows how hard it can be to stay hydrated while running during the summer in Lafayette. "We decide where we're going to run based on where the water sources are and basically I just kind of came up with the idea that if we had more water sources we could probably run in different areas," Mark LeBlanc, founder of Hydrate Lafayette, said.

I was arrested and charged with my 2nd DWI but refused to take the breath test. so the 1st judge court ordered me to install this box in my car. The 2nd judge said that the 1st judge didn't sign it at the time it was ordered which was in December. Plus I haven't been arraigned as of yet.

In the case of a toxilizer refusal in the state of Louisiana, how do I delay the suspension and negate/postpone DMV decision?
I know other defendants who have had MULTIPLE DUI's and have not blown and all of which have never had an interlock device installed. I overheard someone talk about a motion that was filed that basically delayed the decision of the DMV and once the hearing was granted, the suspension period was basically over. Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The license suspension is a civil matter, whereas the DUI/DWI is criminal. There are strict time limits that pertain to...
I was locked up for DUI in miss. State and they gave my keys to someone without me signing them out. What do I do?
They have no record of who they even gave the keys too and did not get my consent. Now I have reported car stolen and am confused about what to do. But I do know I don't have a car and no one is taking responsibility.
This isn't really a question for a lawyer unless you want to file suit.
