Son arrested in Bahrain for DUI. Only information we have at this point is that he has to pay an expensive fine or spend a minimum of 6 weeks in jail since there is zero tolerance for this infraction. Is there any advice you could give us on how to help our Son or how to proceed? Thank you for your response.
If you haven't already, I think it would be best to contact the U.S. Embassy in Bahrain. Telephone: (973) 1724-2700...

Yes, you absolutely should get an attorney. You should probably also check into treatment. Alcohol abuse is one thing,...
I got a 4th DUI (lifetime) last week. My last one was 10 years ago how much jail time am I looking at? I know it can be up to a year but is that a likely sentence?
Unfortunately you are looking at a year in jail. Most judges will do that on a 4th. However, if you got it in El Paso...
He was just sentenced to 30 days work release but they only let him out of jail for a certain amount of time each day. He works 14+ hrs most days. His employer told him he needs to at least be able to work 12 hours a day. He was told by the da in adams county he can't do in home detention because his offenses are too close together. Is this true if so is there anyway work release will work with him on his hrs? We have 2 little boys under the age of 3 and can't afford for him to lose his job
Presumably your husband is on probation. If so, he needs to speak to his probation officer. He may also want to...
I just found out recently from my children that while their mother was on probation for her DUI, she had them blow in the interlock "multiple" times in the mornings so she could drive them to school. She told them it was because she just used mouthwash and it would make the interlock go off. The truth is, she drinks so much at night, she's still drunk in the morning. What can be done at this point given it's hearsay from my children and also in the past (about 1 year ago)? Is it punishable given the lack of evidence? My children are 15 and 17 now. Thanks
If the mother of your children still has a drinking problem, why not contact your local mental health center to see how...
My boyfriend was pulled over and arrested in Colorado for suspicion of a DUI. He refused field sobriety test and a breathalyzer, so they drew his blood (do not know the results of the test yet). He works in a field that requires him to have a CDL license to drive company equipment, if he loses that he loses his career and livelihood. He would do pretty much anything to keep his license and his career. What are his options?
The response focuses so much on details here that you haven't given. Best bet is to hire an expert lawyer in Denver in...
